He won’t be alone because some of her beloved are there so he’ll still have family there. And she won’t be alone when he’s gone because she has new family that will be there for her thanks to him and his family.

HE! First kiss was an accident but cute and sweet. They get married ep 20. But this drama isn’t about romance so super slow burn and frustrating. The two are grey/red flag characters who hurts one another in their own ways, keeps secrets etc. You can tell they like each other but both have their own goals that can’t be set aside for romance.

Gradually over the episodes you can tell he’s whipped. But not until 26 did he confessed and she said something similar of a confession too. Like I commented somewhere before the romance it itsy bitsy but you can tell.

Aiya if you’re upset there’s no romance, just go find a different drama. There are plenty romance cdramas out there, even some newly realeased ones with the right amount of romance that’ll be to your liking. I’ve seen many already stating that the drama isn’t focused on the romance too (not just the ones trying to defend there is romance), that it is just a tiny fraction of the drama. Let it go and find something else to watch.

I’ll gladly come comment in upper cases that this isn’t a romance drama every few hours before I sleep to let people know. 🤣
