Dragon Deity = LongShen = ChiWen aka WangDuo

Rui aka JiLing is pretending to be LongShen and he in returns pretends to not know WYi when it’s obvious they had a past that she forgot while he remembers

ChiWen saved JiLing so like many cdramas/films, they take being saved serious so that’s prob why JiLing is helping ChiWen to pretend to be ChiWen aka LongShen. They tend to go crazy to repay their saviors in cdramas and films (a good example is XiaoWei’s story).

They get trapped in illusions of the past and got stuck in the bodies of important people from the past. What’s more interesting is that despite being in those bodies, they know they’re in the bodies of past people so they’re trying hard to navigate and pretend to be those people.

If I recall correctly, she did say ManMan betrayed etc but after it she said he prob had a reason? Almost to signify all her actions have a reason too, including her lies.

I just realized cuz LS took WYi out before the full moon so we don’t know if the full moon can whisk her away home from the dragon sect. 🤣 I hope in the dragon sect, the full moon is powerless so WYan doesn’t have to cut off a tail. 😭

She’s like a baby duckling following its mom around so she definitely lost some memories or she die and was reborn and gotta relearn and remember her past. JiLing’s appearance seems to be the trigger to get all those back cuz she’s so affected by him and what happened to him.

From the previews for the upcoming episodes it looks like it. She’s in a red and black outfit with a long spear and even ripped off a face mask to show her face.

Romance is all there. 😉

From the cast, looks like the real ChiWen is played by WangDuo.

She’s paired with Rui (LongSheng/JiLing).

I don’t get why WYi is so depraved of emotions for those scenes with XiaoWei and the other killings. But what if after she erased, told JiLing(?) to “forget me” by that lake and perhaps later she died. The foxes are immortals so she’s reborn but in the process all her old emotions/memories are gone so she gotta get/feel them back. And she is, as she met JiLing again. Her memories of that one boy by the lake are slowly returning in pieces so, so are her emotions.

At the start I was part of the commenters watching Reuters while they filmed. Then I left to watch released dramas. By the time I came back filming was done already and everyone else was extra crazy here. 🤣
