Since I have neither read the Manga nor watched the Anime I was completely unsure what to expect. The trailer caught my attention immediately. Great soundtrack, good cinematography, interesting story. When I saw the movie I was so glad that it met my expectations. While the story may not sound special I fell in love with the characters (as much as it is possible during a movie) and their unique qualities. The fashion itself is beautiful and the way the story is told as well. It is unusual and (fans of japanese dramas/movies will maybe understand this) I was more than just happy about the ending. While I love my japanese dramas, they tend to not make we want to rewatch them, not as much as korean dramas do, since they have not yet mastered the art of finishing a drama the way I want it to. They like to make it all philosophical and deep but I'm simple, I only want to feel happy afterwards...I'm easily satisfied. But that's just my personal opinion. I really recommend this movie, it is funny and cute and different and happy.
