I'm having to pause. I find this ridiculous to make up this brutal scene & their love to then make her a sex slave to a man who she does not love while the one they supposedly both love watches. This messaging is plain cruel and they could have easily skipped her development with Derang and made it fresh after the emperor dies. Then making us see pingu (emperor) take her repeatedly until death. Nah man this ain't it! It's a failed dynasty a failed everything why do they keep doing this? Like what's the purpose ? They have a billion people why this that's riddled with cruel fiction. I'm upset I'm sorry . No girl should think " oh look you have to do this to get that" uh no you don't. If this was a docu drama completely then I would be more accepting but it is not. I know I'm a guest this wasn't made to ifan mentality so I lose :(

Lots of posters here are researching the history then the novel. The characters existed but the marriage of her and De is not appearing so far. It may be fiction and we accept lol He has to WATCH as she marries his BFF and have kids which means lots of sex! Wiki shows several babies. I'm in it . Originally the story is explained as each sister married off and our Fl goes to his best friend who becomes the emperor. They marry have children and she takes over after he dies. She's bad ass. Shawn character devoted his life to protecting his bff and her. There's some conflicting info on if shawns character is fiction and they end up together later. I think the real her lives well into her 50 or 60's.

I accept this train of thought lol I need to see this so hoping for the best but whatever happens it will be too late haha. Thank you!

What I read said Shawn character and her is fiction. That she married the emperor had children he died in a hunt and she stayed a widow until her death. She was regent to their son and an empress. Did I read the wrong history cuz I may have typed it in wrong. Lol. If Shawn character is fiction I hope it's to give us a happy ending dang
