The issue between Miho and Namoo's mother is so realistic
I know everyone will hate on Namoo's mom, but her concerns are absolutely valid. I'd feel just as hurt if I were in Miho's shoes hearing those remarks, but I'd also be protective of my son if I were in the mother's shoes. As unfair as it may seem, it's normal for a mother to try to foresee her son's misfortunes and prevent them before they manifest. She doesn't have anything against Miho per se, nor does she actually look down on her. Their financial situations are similar. But it's completely within her scope of responsibility as a mother to try to shield Namoo from a future he may not be able to handle. It's fine now as the puppy love stage is ongoing and his ties with Miho's family are unofficial, but years down the road, this sort of situation has brought many to divorce. So, acting like his mother is irrational or out of line just because she's forcing two youngsters in love to face reality and have these difficult conversations before things get more entangled is shortsighted
And I love Miho and Namoo to bits. It's better for them to think about the concerns that were brought up and navigate them precociously rather than realize it all too late and destroying each other's families in the long run
why did taepoong have to say miseon-ah (instead of oh juim-nim) at this worst possible timing :,,,,(
I was actually hoping this would happen but didn't think it would, so I lost my mind when he said it x) I absolutely love that raw, unfiltered moment when the guy drops honorifics as soon as his girl's in danger <3
I love this show so much, it saved the kdrama slump of 2025 almost all on its own (this and resident playbook were the only dramas that were worth watching for me this year)
an ensemble cast that truly feels like family, both for the characters and the viewers themselves, is truly hard to come by people will always complain about this type of slow, realistic, slice of life setting, so I'm not surprised. But it's my haven, so I absolutely adore it Taepoong and Miseon's dynamic is so enthralling in its simplicity, and it represents everything I love about romance. That effortless comfort in the other person's presence, the joy that comes with spending time with someone despite the fact that you're together all the time, not to mention the sturdy trust and reliance that lie between them. It's endearing beyond words
I also love Namwoo and Miho; that innocence and adorable purity so reminiscent of high school sweethearts :')
I disagree with those saying that there's too much focus on the romance. It's really balanced imo. We have family scenes between Taepoong / Miseon's respective families, work colleagues that feel like a second family, that dependable friendship between Taepoong and Namwoo...The latter being the only one that I think deserves more screentime, but nothing can be perfect
Anyway, can't wait for tomorrow's episode. The male lead losing his mind when the female lead is in danger is my favourite trope in the world, and I'll never get sick of it x)

I never said they should be harassed. Read my comment again. I only said that saying that hugs and handshakes are not considered skinship as if it's some universal norm is false. It has nothing to do with what century we live in. Every country and every culture has its own norms and standards. And we in no way are obliged to conform to the West's definitions of social norms.

I was simply explaining why some people in certain countries would suspect that two actors might be dating. Agree 100%. Westerners can't just expect the entire world to follow their norms. To each their own, and they must respect that. A hug/hand shake between people of the opposite sex isn't strictly professional/friendly in many parts of the world
It will be interesting to ser in a show where main focus is on her rather than the ML..this is also her chance…
I'd say she was more of a focus than the ML in My Liberation Notes. And in Fight for My Way and Queen of Tears, the focus was equally on both her and the respective male lead of each drama. These are the three dramas I've seen her in, and I always felt like she was given great material to work with...Never felt like she was undermined in favour of the male lead in those works, at least

yess I watched it!! I'm watching this mainly for juhyun and she absolutely killed it :) what I love most about her is that she isn't necessarily born with the natural physical strength that others may have, but she still manages to show what she's made of by her sheer persistency! it reminds me of what the captain said about her in season 1: ''it's tougher for juhyun with her form, but she's holding out with her mentality''.

I've been rewatching the show ever since it ended, and continuously write stories about it, all to fill the hiatus between seasons, and all for this? especially after the writer said their romance plot would unravel in season 2...
I'm glad I've written fanfiction for them because it seems like it'll be my only closure.

I've really enjoyed her acting in both Exit and Big Mouth, and from the trailers of pretty crazy, I think I'm going to love her acting in this too I think a lot of Korean idols are also great actors, so I don't even take the idol status into account when I judge their acting. I think a lot of them get written off as actors simply because they happened to first be singers
But of course, to each his own, so you may have a completely different impression of her

Pinocchio's also my favourite drama of his :) the plot was truly one of a kind, not to mention the whole cast of characters. I really miss it. I feel like dramas like it don't get made anymore unfortunately
I loveeee Lee jong suk and he always has such sizzling chemistry with all of his Co-stars, but here i feel kinda…
he's always had pretty strong female leads to bounce off of (PSH, suzy, yoona), but it's different this time around
