It was Zhang Zhun's umbrella, borrowed from him for Zhen Xin and his co-star -- from the first time Zhen Xin first noticed Zhang Zhun, who was eating at that time (he was the stunt double for the Zhen Xin's female co-star). I'm guessing Zhen Xin meant to return the umbrella.

Since many of them haven't read the novel, they get too impatient and feel it's hard to see a door mat character. For me, it's often about the journey. FanFan needs to figure what he wants. Having not read the novel myself, my wish list includes, FanFan realizing that he needs to prioritize himself, find a job outside the sphere of the Beis' immediate influence, gain confidence in his own abilities, make himself unavailable to both families. Exactly. Catholic priesthood is supposed to be a calling, so he's allowed to change his mind until his ordination. Even if he were to attend seminary school, if he decided the priesthood is not for him, he can choose not to get ordained.
