Except for calling each other boyfriends, I thought Uea had been very accommodating. Checking in with King when he gets home, agreeing to go on this trip (that got cancelled), doing couple stuff like meals out - things that dating couples do that Uea was OK with under their FWB umbrella.
Which is why after the arranged match fiasco, Uea made that distinction, "You don't have to do that. We're bed friends." Uea totally dialed back. I'm not disagreeing that Uea is a difficult person to love, but he and King were getting somewhere. The thing I don't agree with was that King was getting nothing emotionally from Uea. Maybe less than King would've liked, but not nothing. Aaah. I'm just so frustrated that King gave Uea such a huge reason to step back/step away since I really think they would be good for each other. I already felt that King liked Uea from the first day they met, from just the way he looked at him and they way he's been trying to get this attention. From the way Uea looked, I think he was pretty devastated King went ahead with the arranged match, not jealous, just devastated because I think Uea keeps testing King and King failed a big test. I think King has already fallen for Uea. He has been very protective. And frankly, FWB do not call each other saying good night and letting each other know they've arrived home safely. That's a "we're dating" behavior. Uea didn't impose those rules onto King. King does those things voluntarily and get jealous like a boyfriend. So, my conclusion is King is already whipped and will be there for Uea, come hell or high water.

Thanks for this note. After I saw it, I switched from Viki to Bilibili and enjoyed the show even more. Their thoughts and unspoken feelings for each other were included - I went back and forth, and don't get why they were excluded on Viki; maybe it's just what Viki got a license for. The experience you get watching it on Viki is so much less, hence the rating on Viki reflects that.
