I know a lot of people here wishing that this drama was a GL drama instead of sismance but honestly if Lu Ke and Shen Siyi were to be in a relationship, it would be a toxic one. Majority of the time Shen Siyi can be pretty controlling and domineering. She does a lot of things out of pettiness which sometimes really hurts Lu Ke.

I knoooww, I was totally swooning over the romantic moments and kisses in the novel as well. & I feel like Bai Lu and Ren Jialun will have such sizzling chemistry on screen. It would be such a waste if there were no kiss scenes

I really hope it isn’t the case but in all of his previous dramas, the kiss scene looks fake. If it is really is true then it’ll be such a waste. Agreed, he should just stay out of romance dramas if he has such restrictions
