a woman losing her memory but it's not fantasy or melodrama, just a simple romance
it's make you want to know the end, what's happening to her and if it's going to be sad or whatever!
every episode was a jam and live you wanting to watch the next episode. so i didn't stop myself watching this until it come to the middle.
the first half is good because it make you identified with the character, even if it upseting to see someone so patetic (the main role leading charecter) there are some scenes that you feel this into your face.
Right in the middle Rolling downhill very fast it's become a melodrama , you even don't understand the action behind the main charecter .(playing
Furukawa Yuki)..you ask yourself if he isn't such a great actor or is it just the charecter?! he's looking like a human doll so you kinda forgive him, But his acting and the character combination didn't make any sense,
Also the main actress Nakamura Anne..she isn't so convincing to me , she deosn't look and speak like geek even if she's dress like one...
Ithink it could have been better and the storyline had a potential but it's ruined in the middle for some reason they have tried to make it longer maybe as it should and be "sophisticated" like combine triller with simple drama romance , go figure..i don't understand the writers mind,
Also something was off with all the decision of Otani Ryohei...no depth to his confusing behavor
The end live me with regret i even started watching this...it was aweful and i almost forgoten what is all about

the plot
the acting and all the actors-every one of them
the producing
everything was perfect
it was perfect because it's like i can get into the real authentic South Korean modern culture and at the same time it was crossed with my culture , it's like i can see the connection that it's not so far and different.
The drama itself was refreshing and special in the Kdrama TV landscape off all the 11 years i'm watching Kdrama. it was more like the Kcinema production
it was like this because:
1. The story was special and original as if you can see it's real contradictory from other Kdrama that combine fantasy storyline
Yet it kept the humor and the ingredient used in Kdramas
it was like a salvation for the Kdrama at the time because it was for me at list the pick of the Kdrama,(addicted - i watched everything and know every drama there is....so i get tired from the same old plot
but this one was a sunshine through the rain. I also know that Korean people especialy from Busan (where is the story took place) love this drama a lot.
2. The acting was amazing...so moving , i love then the actor Seo In-guk at that time he was at his second role i've seen and i waited to see him on the screen...from then on i can't even watch him because this drama was so perfect and he is keep choosing bad roles . so this was his life time role (for now:)
3. the love story is not so far from reality i know couple who fell in love in hightschool and still in love so it was very real fro me
4. every episode make you want to know more .you don't know how it will end
love love love

Between East and West: A Deep Dive into Cultural and Personal Struggles of women
The story is about the difficult life of a women in Korea (East) and their attempt to break free and become independent (West). The struggles FL trap her and other women in an endless cycle of helplessness and suffering, with the ending highlighting just how miserable she remains. What began as a romantic fantasy (Western) explodes into a patriarchal, chauvinistic, and restrictive reality. The treatment of women in Korean society evokes revulsion throughout the series.
When she tries to "escape" (To escape the pressures of society and family, to escape the harassment of employers, to escape her partner) she encounters resistance and feels guilty (. There is a selfishness that is not accepted in Korean society, and we witness the injustice within the systems (Although she complains about the employers' assaults, they become the victims.)
The "Western" woman of the fantasies is independent, wants to do everything alone, and refuses to flee with her lover to the USA to maintain her independence. However, by doing so, she remains miserable within the family and societal systems.
Her partner tries to help her, but without success, making him feel miserable and useless, creating an irreconcilable dissonance between East and West. He wants to take charge and be the man, but she refuses to accept the help and be the nurturing woman.
The subplot at work takes a central place and adds depth to the main story. It's hard to side with the woman throughout the series because she acts foolishly and puts herself in no-win situations, but it's understandable that society created her immaturity and confusion. The frustration follows viewers to the end. Why doesn't she choose to escape with the man who offers her happiness and freedom? She prefers to confront forces she has no chance of defeating (work harassment, family pressures, etc.).
The series reflects the spirit of the times and the changes in Korean society with depth and daring. It raises questions about maintaining family and group values while striving to be free and happy.
Music:
99% of the music is truly awful. It's unclear what goes through this director's mind, but this is already the second series where he chooses unbearable American music. This time it's old country music, which is really bad and annoying, overshadowing the viewing experience.
Actors:
All the actors, without exception, are truly excellent. The main couple is wonderful and very talented. I loved both of them and fell in love with the ML actor after this series, even though I've seen him in other series before. He has a baby face, which isn't the typical masculine type, but he is captivating and talented.
Rewatchability:
You can watch this at least twice. at least for the first half. The love between the couple is very moving and feels real.
Overall
A beautiful, critical, and courageous series, different from all other SKorean dramas. However, it leaves you with questions and complete confusion in a very miserable and detached ending, without a real resolution or sense of fulfillment. As SKorea searches for its new identity, between East and West, the screenwriter is also ultimately confused.
You could write an entire research book about this series. This happens because humanity still hasn't found its identity in the world, identities are blurring, and it's unclear who is the man and who is the woman, and what each one wants to be.

Stroy 8/10friendships and love, cheating and everthing is a mess, there is no boring or simple sweet love, everything have to be dramatic, with manipulation and destroy, and wars, as they called it for the sake of "drama". most of the difference is that we have lesbian and gay couples, so it's make it better and more interesting to watch.
ACting 6/10
We have the good actors, avarage and the bad. most of the avarage,
Stud and Earth , and boyo, playing by good actors. the rest is so so ((I'm talking of the main acotrs only)
Locker for example is ok, but there where times he was dul.
The lesbian couple- they were too much, I didn't like both actress , they are boring and their faces and makup annoys me, I didn't get why she have to be with heavy makeup, it was so annoying to watch, maybe I connect it with streotype, and I didn't like the melodramatic acts , why they can not be at the same level of interest like Earth and Stud, I don't get why lesbian don't get the attention they deserve , to me it was like "just to show there is a lesbian couple" and that is it, maybe It is because I didn't like the couple. I wish they would have chose other story and other actresses for the roles.
Music
I really didn't like the music, the opening song remind me of Kpop, the ending song is just nothing special, and the background music was too dramatic.
overall 7/10
S2 was better than S1, I had a difficult time to like it at first but At the middle I changed my mind because of Locker story and Earth &Stud, the rest was boring to me (Boom and Good characters not reliable and boring, maybe it's also their acting) I didn't like Dr.Sam - not his character and not the actor, I stated to like Singto in this series, because in Sotus I didn't like him a lot, here he made a change and prove himself to be a good actor, he also fit more to the charater (to my point of view) I like his character development, at first I thought he was going trough non realistic madness but the last episode I understand more about the resons behind it, so it was nice to watch. I skiped all the wedding and Boom , She is just a boring actress , I'm not sure if the actress was better maybe the character would have been more interesting, the character itself could have been boring in some way, I didn't understand why she got married at all. she didn't make any progress. I could say I like Stud at the end also, the actor is very good, and I really want Stud and Earth to be together, but I have to agree that it was right maybe to end it like that and probably they will make S3.

The beggining is promising. even goodthe vibe is boylove so you expect to find some honesty at the end
But than the end arrive and boom...all destroied at the few last minutes.
No confession, no clearness...nothing, so bland
not to menchend the violence at the end,,,why is that exactly?
All the story and line don't even have a tip of blood, why is that that the end we see him cutting the girl...it's just not connected to nothing.
This Story is not a real triller, not a real romance...it's just hmmm, not clear and the end also not clear.

The story is about 4 couples There a main couple the boy ranway( logic name by he run a way from reality they could not make it more simple)
he is inlove with a man older than him look as his father in age and also clothes and acting and he called the "dream" he also follow this boy from young age since his father passed a way. it's very sick plot to my opinion
This dream is sort of a father figure and than become his lover, if it's not sick i don't know what is
theres anothee real boy inlove with runway - he is handsome and sweet loving guy, unfortunatelly runway run from answers and run from him and lead him on, toture him like crasy, it's very pathetic and sad.
theres also the runway friend that discover that he is gay...he is very cute but he doesn't make any progress at all so it's very very weird
I skip on the streigth couple it was so weird and not interesting ...boring as hell
the last couple are the sick of the sickness of this writer.
it's about the guy that rape runway friend and getting out of it by saying sory and hug him...it's very very disturbing, from this scene i wanted to stop watching this rubish but i couldn't
i skiped also most of the slow moments so it could be beriable...if i was not i couldn't watch this at all
the editing was slow and bad but the story worse.
its had a potential, that is why i like part of it.
Music 8/10
i can enshure you this song is a a rip off of South Korean old song...it's sound so falmilier but i like sk music (the old one) so i liked it also
Acting
the acting was really bad.but every one of them are looking great and handsome
Overall-
i will not watch it again, and the ending was very bad, not clear not telling anything at all and want as to watch the next season
AND YES

Failed Imitation: A Lack of Emotional Depth in a Series Losing Its Direction.
It started as a failed attempt at comedy and quickly devolved into melodrama. From the beginning, I noticed a strong resemblance to screenwriter Kim Eun's ideas, especially since the lead actor starred in two of her successful scripts. The plot appears to focus on a woman's supposed growth, with a secondary romantic element to add interest to an otherwise boring and cliché story of achieving the "American Dream."
In my opinion, the attempt to imitate Kim Eun's script failed, as it looks like a weak copy.
One in eight women on average suffers from some form of cancer, yet this fact has no connection to the beginning of the series. In contrast, Kim Eun's scripts intertwine romance with reflections on a woman's status in conservative Korean society, showing her struggle to break conventions. The romance is essential, woven into the dynamics between partners.
Here, The development feels disconnected and lacks the depth of Kim Eun's approach.

A waste of precious time.
StoryI usually really like these fake marriage plots because they are often full of humor and charm, with something mischievous, exciting, and entertaining. This series failed in all aspects.
Acting/Cast
This is one of the series' main shortcomings. Both actors are terrible, with no chemistry and no charm. The man is not masculine, and the woman is far from feminine. Visually and expressively, they are both extremely dull. You find yourself wondering how the male character ends up liking the female character when she has no charm, looks almost like a man, and dresses, behaves, and appears masculine. On the other hand, he himself is nicknamed "white asparagus" for a reason. He is tough as a nut until the last minute of the series. His appearance is almost Western, which is even more disappointing. Having already watched him in several series, one can only wonder how he lands leading roles.
The supporting characters are uninteresting, and it feels like there is no proper chemistry between them, so I skipped all their scenes.
Rewatch Value
There is no character that goes all the way, pushes boundaries, is brave, or the complete opposite—extremely shy. There is no character who is overly crazy or tough, or with a dark past, something to spice things up. In such plots, there is usually some exaggeration of emotions or characters to a grotesque level. Here, there is none of that. The characters don't understand themselves or each other, they aren't moving, and the development is frustrating and drags to the point where it becomes unbelievable and you no longer want to watch this couple. I completely abandoned it by episode 8. I only got to this episode to see them together, and it was really one of the mistakes that made me regret starting to watch it at all, because even in the last episode, when they are finally a couple, it looks strange, forced, and unpleasant to watch.

A Harsh Look at SKorean Society: Struggling with Love and Tradition
Story 10/10Beautiful
Two people find themselves falling in love on a spring day, drawn to each other like magnets despite the obstacles in their way. One is in an unhealthy relationship, and the guy is a single father. It turns out that this is a kind of stigma in SKorea.SK is a very conservative and patriarchal country that upholds family values, while in the background, it struggles to Westernize, to become more free and feminist.
Although I knew this and appreciated it, there is also a very negative aspect to it. When you live it up close, it makes you despise it to some extent. It's very hard to balance between normative family values and liberal freedom values. I was surprised that even couples who aren't married have the same status as married couples. The resistance from the family, the environment, the annoying and intrusive interference, are very frustrating issues that are hard for a Westerner to understand. On the other hand, this is why the conservative and religious world loves Asian series and expects this.
If it were a funny romantic series, I suppose it would go down more easily. But when you're shown the realism and the ugly sides of Korean society, it's hard to digest. I suppose through the series, one can understand more about Korean women who suffer a lot, as well as single parents.
The disdain shown towards the single father was unbearable.
They treated him like garbage, as if he had no value, and he also saw himself that way until he couldn't take it anymore. I guess it's supposed to serve as some sort of re-education series for Korean viewers. Look at yourselves up close. That's why you see all the seemingly boring conversations between the couple's friends and between the couple and their families, and even at work with colleagues and managers. Every conversation has the significance of the weight of separation, the desire to feel valuable in a very closed and conservative society. Even though I knew this, I didn't imagine how hard it could be for these people who choose to deviate from the path.
Music 1/10
The music is horrible, unbearable, and ruined a lot of the viewing experience for me. I skipped many scenes just because of it, especially romantic scenes that I would have loved to watch if not for that dreadful music. They remind me of Chinese songs in their nature—uninspired and repetitive. Usually, indie films use folk music as if it were some elite and unique style, but the opposite is true. If it were Korean folk music, it might be forgivable. Here, you are watching a hardcore Korean movie and expecting to hear Korean music in the background, and then they bring you uninspired American music.
Actors 10/10
The two actors are beautiful and talented, and there was great chemistry between them. The lead actor has a baby face. He's not the manly type, but he's definitely charming, romantic, and cute. You can see the process of them growing closer to a relationship, and it's very heartwarming. They are convincing. All the other actors are excellent.
Rewatch Value 9/10
If not for the music, I suppose I would watch it again. I skipped episodes 14 and 15 because people wrote that these episodes are depressing. Maybe I'll watch them later.

One in a million
If you watched a lot of romance in your life, a longggg list, you will really appriciate this drama, so much that will not forget it ever, this is one of those drama that giving you tears just to think it's over, it is so good, so lovable.the reviews didn't make it a justice, because probably they are teens that didn't watched a lot of drama, some of them looking for a skin ship, others look for fast meal, it is not a fast meal, it is a traditional japanese tv drama, but now with gay theme. it's is something very very new.
there were gay drams before it, I've watched them all for years. but not like this one. they were more for fluffy love, for a girl young audience, those with the bl mangas , like in "OSANAS love" If you like Osana's I guess you will not like it, it is more older couple , ordinary, real life, with hardship and not so likable things, for example when one side is passive and appologising all the time, the other one is tough and doesn't want to get out of the closet,
IT IS -R_E_AL.. its the deal here.
You can watch it even 3-10 times, every year or 2 you want rewatch it and find another level of understanding. because like the reviews here are not mature to understand things, most reviews are from teens that doesn't get it.
The colture are different, and you can not compare Japanese drama to the Thai dramas, They are just differente and yes you need to be connected to their mind or their thing. Japanese like Art, beauty, they are very clean in thinking and down to earth, for example they doesn't even miss one spot that isn't in the right place, the angles the colors, the food they are showing, It is very pricice, second, they trying very hard not to follow other styles, like South Korean they have their own game.

Second chance and Lay Talay Sanguandikul
I tried to watch it when it was aired and i couldn't because it's look to cheezy for me, but last week i was bored so i try to watch it again, and i really like this drama from second chance. i think that it doesn't give good first impression.story-
stroy is very cliche and simple, nothing new - it's evolve around student gays couples , there is the slave king character and the good friend that doesn't confess, there is also the guy that can't realise he is inlove or something. everyone have an isuue, but what i like about it that it's natural, not some melodrama and complex, just ordinery fluffliness.
Acting
maybe i will edit it later, but most of them don't have so much acting skills. i think that Cooper is the best here and also Handsone Lay ,even better, there is something about him, he remind me of River Phoenix , the look in general and also the acting, he have some deep skills. but he also can't deliver it to the end because he didn't had a partner at all (Perth really bad actor) and also the script or the procucing didn't help him so much. at the end i think he was the shining star in this drama really.
i didn't like Poy acting, there were just one moment that he play himself, not some stupid kid but there was amoment at first, but most of the time he lookss stupid and it's not his fault, it's because they want him to play younger than his age, like 14 -15 teen...
I didn't understand why Ryen was dubbed...it's just ruined everything, he was cute but the dubbing just ruined it.
Boss and Mek was for me the most interesting couple, i think they were cute until the end,
i didn't like Shane and Md, everything about those twoe looks fake, like they are 2 models that try very hard...
Over all it's very sweet drama i like that there is not so much drama and suffering and everything is open and normal, like it's normal to be gay and not so special, they present it as if there is no complex or questions about it, it's nice, i know there are a lot of bl drama like this, but here it's extremly fun and normal,

Yes or no number 1 was very good, but number 2.5 is quite the opposite,1. different actors...the replace Pie, pie had great chimestry with Tom boy...now they replace it with very very bad actress. what make Tom shine is Pie...when she isn't there Tom is just boring! her acting is very lacking so whenie missing...she just doesn't intresting at all, they also cut her hair she look more like a man than before, less cute.
the replace actress are not just bad, she is just standing and not reply...it's frustrating.
2. the second couple are adorable but they get very little time screen, it's a shame. the fall inlove together and it's gave me hope at the begininig but than they just dissapired.
i skip most of the movie, it was really boring.

now they after 3 years of relationship
the plot is quite cliche, there are a lot of scenes that i skiped, they were really boring, but the main couple is really adorable and have chemistry. they belivble,
i think the Tom girl is just so adorable i want to watch her again and again...she is very cute although she gain more skills she still not so good actress but she is beautiful and cute, you believe her that she is pure in heart
there is a tamptation in the movie when she found someone else that fell inlove with her, i think it's very authentic, it's somehow not like others drama when it happenes.
because i watched a lot of romance i know it, the difference is that the other girl called "YAM" is not evil, she is just cute and you like her even at the end, she let go, not holding Tom.
i think the movie success is the message of lasting love, you believe there is pure love like this
i cry and i can relate to "YAm" more than the others, but still i hoping to feel some of their love, so i think it's really pure in heart, you can feel the producer is really trying here.
the con in this movie is that there is no real kiss...i was really dissapointed at the end, but never the les is good movie and worht watching

StoryIt's a story about love, there is not much plot but the sweet thing you don't just see the typical couple romance "how they met and in the final they kissed" it's more like you see the developing of their love and you go trough the journey until they even live together in a relationship until they get married.
I've skip most parts not include them together- their have a perfect chemistry between them, it look real and genuine so i like to watch only them, maybe the other couple would have been interesting but i didn't like the actors...so i pass.
The music is not my cup of tea it's just one song repeat itself, and the song is very boring and not creative.they could have adding more music more songs to make it better.
The cast - like i said the couple- love their acting they are really good at this kind of rolls.
also the family are good.
overall, it was high quality not only the filming and the cast but the developing of the scenes and the way you can relate and connect to them and even miss them when it's already end.
24 episode in just couple of days i like it a lot and at first i can say for sure they copy al ot from Koreans, the vibe the filming the looks the feeeling.. i know the specific scenes. but yet it was worth it i guess
