I watched this Drama in 2007. The drama was so good that had stay in my memory for so long and i have to write this review. it's remain in my heart.

The acting is great, the story seems real and original it's get right to your heart.

It's one of those drama like "replay 1997" that you can see a young writer who bring new and refreshing simpe warm heart story.

You can see that Even it's pass 14 years from then it is still one of the best what is indicate that it's good drama

Really it's a revenge drama ,,,
But the main actor and actress are apealing to the eye, and their acting is good
the problem is that it's typical melodrama, there are a lot of cliche. it's very boring to watch
also you can see the SK influence so it's not a surprise they also film in Korea in fall...when the leaves are yellow, romanctic , it's make you want to visit there

He always push her and than grab her tight after he "abuse" he give a "hug" if it where just few episode it was ol but it's already 18 episode so it's exhausting,
The main actor so good looking and rebellious so it's atractive to watch , but ho boy is is too much...even a real angry man dosen't get angery for so long...

All the other actors are very very boring and not intresting what so ever, the father also bad actor.

I will write full review when i finish , but i'm not sure i can
Overall it's something around 2-3 of 10

Could have been a lot better

The reviews here with 6 points explain it good. But i want to add somethings:
Story 4/10
it's not something new, not refreshing, it same old story, added couple of western ideas with the animation at the beginning it's made me a little frastrated, i felt i watched 90's "indie" american movie.
But the end was the punchline- it is an happy ending for gay couple. So you forgive them for the boring plot.

Acting 3/10

I loved Jdrama until 1-2 years ago, but they started to pick bad actors, or actors that doesn't fit to their roles.
They are not strick like before in choosing the cast and it's Because western factors involved - like Netflix or Vikii and their friends for example.

I really can't understand why the cast Shirasu Jin, i don't like him at all, he should play the villain, something about him looks as bad person, his smile, his eyes. I feel only the cold blowing even when he said: "I love you Yuki"

Raiko on the other hand is better but still lack of skills, when he is craying you don't but it!

they are both not fit for the role and doesn't deliveres the feelings they could hace ( watch His, ir pornographer - and compare to the level of acting and production)

Music 1/10

They really didn't invested at all in the OST

Overall production 6/10

It's cute because there are moments you can feel the ecxitment, Mostly because the "old" jdrama vibe they used to be. but it was rashed fast and we could not feel the emotion properly, so i gave it a 6, it is worth watching anyway.

The plot is ok but delivered bad

I am really sorry to say it but it's started promising and than the last few episodes was lacking, the plot is good, but the editing and the long long scenes make it boring to watch and not to remember, I even forgot what happned in the previous episode to the last one so I need to refresh it , than I go to the last episode and it was so slow I must watch with dubble speed.

The acting of Benz need improvment,I really really sorry to say it, and I hope it will not hurt him, but he have a way to go , need to express his feelings with more than 2 faces, need to go trough some acting class to make him express more because he have more to give.

The only good actor was the big boss, he was the only one that convinced me it's real.

For me it wasn't the car scene that make it not good as it could have been but the flow and the pasted and how it's photograhped, it's really reminds me 2moons2 that was the same slow motion. If you make it slow you need :1. great actors, I mean really the best, so they can make it real. 2. Good editing, good light position, interesting editing that can express the emotions.

It was needed more episodes or faster scnes to connect to fill the story holles, make it look more real, for example maybe the harrasment itself or hints, it comes really as surprising.I didn't see it coming, you need to give some interaction between Tee and the actor.

Overal it could have been a lot better

the story of a naive but storng woman that bring a child on her own as a single mom, without the father knowlage. she open a bar by herself while rising a baby . she doesn't tell the father because she want to raise the baby on her own, she doesn't want his support, she can do it, she also doesn't want him to give her any support after he found out about the child, she also forgive her mother after abonded her and take care of her, her mother has being forgiven because she is ill, she also very storng and not firghtening to live in dark bar with her baby for more than 6 year while a murderer want to kill her and made her as a target.

when you think of this description you already become familier about the South korean biggest obsession of all:
------------------Woman must be superhero and a saint /angle -------------------------
she is literally saint super hero.
while in reality women in day life struggle to earn money to themself, when they have a baby as single mom they are barly live, they need finance help, or they become prostitute to bring income or sending the baby to adopted family.
even single person without a support can't open a bar, but here we see an single mother orphan that open a bar...it's quite amazing don't you think? more as a super hero than a real human, espesialy in South Korea,

the thing is that in korea there are a lot of prastitude women but they don't talk about it, they don't even dare to show it in their "clean" "rich" Kdramas , the woman is always perfect even if she is poor , the main lead i mean.

if she is a side support role actress she can be aweful, but than she got murdered by the joker, so she not even allowed to live\ i am talking now on the waiter that worked in camellia bar. she suppose to be the real main actress, the main character also, but yet...she is only the "support" actress.
she is so human, to compare to Camelia...yet she satying alwayes the supporting role//

she is not pritty enough, she is not good enough,.she just need to die!
that how they see women in general in their society.
you don't understand it until you watch in a decate full of Kdrama, and than you understand theres a lot of prastitude on the streets and you want to cry...why can't be a prastitude them main lead, why she is not human in their eyes, why women have to be perfect saint all the time,

A series full of sweetness.

The Story
The story is quite simple, about love and loneliness, with food bridging the gap between them.
The screenwriter did a wonderful job teasing the viewers, constantly keeping them on edge with a taste for more, and this even happens in the final episode.
The manga was more superficial, where the character of the police officer was rather boring and far from the character in the series, who is more flirtatious, positive, and charming.
There’s significant character development here, especially for the main character. However, it’s clear that the series could have been even more perfect if it provided more perspective on what the police officer's character was going through, or focused more on loneliness during the tougher moments.

The Actors
The acting is perfect, it couldn’t be more perfect. The actors are very talented.
They have great chemistry and are a perfect match..
The lead actor has been acting since childhood, and it's clear how skilled he is. He brought the character from the manga to life in such a way that it makes you want to be his friend and fall in love with his sweetness.
The actor who plays the police officer is also highly skilled and has a charm that is rarely seen in other actors.
There’s an elegance about him that truly captivates, both in his movements and speech.
At times, he feels like an older woman with life wisdom, but this worked perfectly

The Music
I specifically didn’t like the songs in the series. One of the songs is from the lead actor’s band, and of course, he has an amazing voice, and the song is very catchy.
Both songs are quite catchy and in a modern pop style, but personally, I found them a bit banal.
In my opinion, the Japanese pay great attention to choosing music that fits the series, and while it was indeed fitting, I believe they could have put in more effort, as Japanese music is usually very creative.

Rewatching
I’ve watched this series several times since it started, and I’ll probably watch it many more times in the future because it’s very sweet, relaxing, and fun. It’s one of those timeless series you never forget and always come back to because there’s never a dull moment, and the actors are perfect. Honestly, it’s such a charming series that it’s impossible not to love—unless you’re an annoying snob.

It's remind me some old Kdrama iv'e seen before need to remember the name,
but anyway the first episode was great, promesing
lovely moment of girl and a boy scholl student , romantic and moving
the production also high quality- natural light, natural makeup, it's refreshing and it's happen mostly in Taiwan dramas, like "history" series, when you meet original producer and not some "money chaser", you see he know what his doing, maybe he comes from "films" and not tv dramas. theres a "film" vibe.

the actors catch my eyes, most of them are very handsome.

but that's were the story end for me although i'm still trying to keep on till the end.for romantic moments/

From 2-5 it began to be pradictiable, melodramatic and a little cheezy, there is just the bitch called Juanjuong she is so annyoing and i can't stand those type of charecters, very cliche when a "bad girl/woman" want a man and she go after him no mather what , with a bitter face, some other guy (the brother of the main actress role) love her but she not notice him at all...the typical triangal

The "good boy" doesn't like her , and the "good girl" he like and she like him back but sucrifise him for the "bad girl" because of pitty, its so cliche you need to hild yourself to watch this...

the other thing is that they not look like highschool studants they look at their end of 20's, esspecially the main actress had also old voice like a grandmother, her voice not fit to her cute face, anyway the productoin by itself is good but the plot not hold it unfortunatly

Iv'e seen Fon and Mond in several other dramas but ho boy the chemistry between them is in another level just magical , bring out the best of them , it's like they meant for each other,(for acting at list:))
They both were boring actor, but now after this drama i like them both together they glowing, and should have just play together again i will be so happy and i think a lot of fans will also.
Story 3/10
Not original generic, very boring, girl rent a boyfriend so she can learn to catch another man heart
same old typical story at the end she fell in love with the rent boyfriend, and this story were in all language : Japanese, Chinese, south Korean...repeatedly
but here it's a lot worse, there are part that not make any sense and even dangerous from a women perspective

Smile getting almost raped couple of times but nothing happened to her emotionally and nothing happened to the criminals...not police, not jail hints, nothing they run a way free to rape another girl and she acting like nothing happen second after it. it's disturbing because it's putting women as a n object and that most men are evil , if she dressing short or going out at night a lone she is at risk.

The only good thing is their parts of two of them together, you can watch the all drama in one hour if you skip the others, they are lovely and cute so it's fun to watch to pass the time.

Episode 10, 11 are waste of time, not convincing at all, they drag the story too much and it's not flowing

The acting is so so it's ok...music is very boring no good in any way, cliche

Another selling product, let's find out what it is

The last year brrought us a lot of advertising bl dramas, that was one of those.

Story 1/10
If I could give it 0.5 I would. This is a typical Korean streight story, There is an agonizing artist and a friend that push him and give him support, while his family against his dreams or have some conflict or not provide him what he want or even a gangster( Korean just loves Gangsters) so here we have the same plot, but this time it's 2 males instead of male and female as the main couple.

it's not that it's not the reality but the question is why they don't creat other stories, is there anything in Korea that is not singers or actors? or poor and rich sindrom? are there more into it? or love save only for singers and actors?

The story didn't developed and was not clear, how they fell inlove, no one understand really.

But- at the end they are both singing together, so maybe they want to sell us 2 gays band product? later we will find out.

Acting 1/10
Bad, not convicing.

Music 1/10
Generic, as we are talking about musicians, there are not real music, so it is very interesting, and usually it's like that on those films , the musicians are not musicians, so what they are really? are they products?

overall
Waste of time

Cute is not enough

I didn't fond this couple too uch at the first "Why r u" drama, but I really fond of Jimmy, he is super cute, Cute that I think that can also pull of the same dynamic with someone else,
Acting 3/10
I don't find Tommy to be in his league, not by apearance and not with acting, it's like he is forcing himself to smile like a cute person. he is trying really hard. too hard. While Jimmy is not a grat actor he is natural cute.

And the story 2/10- there is not so much story in to it, Zon suffer from B-polar disorder and it's reapting itself also in this drama again. it's unecesery, not making anything new here and boring. the breakup and than inlove again and you don't know if Zon will suffer again he always seem to suffer and not answering even questions like: you love me or not?

Music 3/10
the same as it was before, it's not bad but to much repetative.

Overall 3/10
If you are bored it's ok, to skip and to watch at double speed. but that is where it's ends

The first episode was promising. the title drew me to watch , it was little different.
After i began to watch i fall in love with the actor (remind me a little of Cha Tae-hyun vibe and overall the movie "my sassy girl") and even if the music is not my cup of tea It was cute
The actress..not so much, she is pretty so" i forgive" her bad acting and lack of charm
even if the plot is not unique and even a qliche, i had hope
But episode 2 Highlighted more and more her bad acting and singing.and the plot worsen .that was hard to hear and watch from the middle. the ending was truly bad.
it was another typical cliche drama and it's a shame because the actor is charming he is not just a nother pretty face lead actor as we see in other Kdrama.

I expect too much from the last episode(11) and again i disapointed so much even more than before.

first, the actor playing Xiang Hao Ting father , don't act so well, even very bad, he is also short, his son to tall compare to his perents, it's look like a bad jock, second- all those scene with the perents are worn out, for me it's look like a joke , yes...people like them exsist unfortunatly, but i really don't want to watch them or hear of them , they are big big joke that aren't educated and not so smart, but those perents are live very well life...i'm asking myself how can welthy person can be so dumb.

another thing is the not realistc relationships, they just jump to the sex to make us want more, but the truth is maybe teens will enjoy it, the rest will be bored, because they know that sex without any foundation don't worth so much as a viewer , older viewers want to grow with the characters and feel more, you don't want just the flash and highlights,

i think in general the title for this drama sums it up well- highlights drama, when you see the result of everything but not the equation

another thing that this ep11 show very well all this drama is the part when they sit at the roof and the guy talking how his perents became stars.
nowdays kids and teens are smart or they have a lot of knowlage of everthing, everything is in youtube, they watch sciense and astronomy and physics and so on, it's the most relevant topic nowdays,,,,,i guess the writer doesn't update so much in teens lifes. so they know what are the stars...from what they made and so on...it's kind of a joke to say that your perents is "stars" also it's quite kill the romance so i'm almost sure they can't feel what is romance = lies.
ask any teen if he knows what it is.....even kids know there is no santa for example...so they are very well know things.
another problem is that it's the most cliche scene ever excist in movies....the stars and watch the stars and talk about your perents that became a stars....it's just so cliche you are bored.

so this is it. if you are teen you will enjoy the excitment of the result because you like fast food and fast sex and fast everything, if you older...you can skip and it's make your life better = couse you save time.

thisis practicly a use of bl fans,
in love by chance they were the second couple, they were my favorite couple and i wanted to see them in drama of their own, but here it's just a use of their fans to gain more money.
1. they both colored their hair so trangly and not convinsing, i mean...its very tought to diy your black hair all the time, they also look better without it, it look fake and just annoying
it's make them try harder to look more trandy...
2. in LBC Tin were tought and snob, but here is joyful and smile all the time, it's not the same character, it's just different story, but they use those actors.
3. the filming the colors, all the vibe is more as a comerssial, everything look fake, not just their hair.
4. at episode 1 we see Tin kiss Wish forthhead, i womder...do they realy live together as a couple?! another fake act ho god.
5. at the first scene Wish kick tin from their bed, is a realy couple do those things? Nope..
Fake is the title, they just use those couples to promote and gain money,
i understand it's more legitimic now, but it's just not worth watching

Both main characters are insufferable, and there is no chemistry between them.

Storyline:

The main plot involves two high school students who are forced to live together and develop feelings for each other.
The beginning is very funny and entertaining, but this doesn't last. After a few episodes, it's clear there is no chemistry between the two main characters.

The story is routine and not special, it's filled with uninteresting side stories. As usual, there's a big contradiction in the main plot. The series is aimed at a young audience, yet one of the side stories about the brother and his wife wanting to get a divorce is complex and more suited for adults. This mix makes the show boring.

Character Critique:

Both characters are extremely annoying and have no value to their surroundings or to each other.

The female character is unbearably annoying, not attractive, petty, selfish, and stupid. She distorts her voice to sound like a child and has no appealing qualities. She behaves grotesquely, which doesn't do her any favors. Even as the plot progresses and they are in a relationship, she still acts like a five-year-old rather than a teenager. This might have been acceptable if it were funny like in the beginning, but at some point, it stops being funny due to her poor acting and other factors. Strangely, she has many attractive suitors, although she is not appealing or beneficial to the other side in any way.
Main Actor:
The main actor is not particularly handsome, but he's portrayed as a beauty prince. He doesn't seem attracted or in love, even when he should be showing some love. His facial expressions are the same in all scenes, regardless of what's happening. This also happens a lot, but due to the lack of chemistry between the characters, it doesn't work.

Music:
There's nothing memorable.

Overall Impression:
a one-time watch, with many skips over especially boring scenes, particularly towards the end. It's unclear why they stretched it to so many episodes; it's completely unnecessary.

A disappointing series.

Another American cliché show

Story:
The worn-out cliché that if you achieve your dream, you will be happy, and that it is more important than family, that it's okay not to get married, it's okay to be alone, and that if you keep chasing your dream and don't compromise along the way, you might also find a relationship.

Acting/Cast
Japan top actors,
I really love the main couple, and all the actors were excellent.

Music
They could have done much more, put in much more effort musically. It seemed like they didn't invest at all.

Overall
The series started off beautifully; Unfortunately, I didn't have the patience to watch until the final episode and dropped out around episode 6. I didn't connect with the main idea of achieving a dream for the sake of happiness. It feels like a very Western concept that doesn’t quite resonate with the Japanese, but they are trying to force it in unnaturally. In my opinion, if she had understood that family, a partner, and children are the highest values, not the other way around, it might have better represented Japanese culture and felt more genuine and authentic.

It's not that one can't understand the frustration of working as an employee, especially in Japan where employees can truly suffer not only from overwork and stress but also from other issues. It's really challenging. However, portraying the idea that an independent person is happy and fulfilled or succeeds solely because of hard work is one of the biggest illusions sold to us. It gives the impression that despite having an experienced and popular cast, the audience is watching a Netflix series rather than a Japanese series.
