But she accurately represents real-life solo stans / obsessive shippers / parasocial nutjobs / sasaengs. That kind of so-called "fan" needs to be locked up in a padded room.
I'm so confused by your reference to a coma. There's no indication at the end that he's in a coma or died or anything like that, and there's no indication the beach is a dream sequence.
The ending is just the conclusion of the case and the story.
They both hid the fact at first. But later the investigator's father was known, thus he was suspended.
But after Tak Seong Ung confesses to the murders, there's a scene in Ep 10 where four of them are sitting at a table discussing everything and Ju Tae Seon says "I will prosecute the Koryoin case" - which is related to his father's case through Tak Seong Ung.
Meaning, he should be recused of any involvement.
I dunno, I guess I'm overthinking. But in the U.S. that would have never been allowed.
Also.....in what country would an investigator and his prosecutor boss be allowed to investigate the murder case involving both of their fathers?
In order to preserve the integrity of the case and not come across as being prejudicial, wouldn't they be immediately removed from being involved in that case AT ALL?
"When Gucheon was first dragged into the palace, he was quite chubby."How did he get chubby during his…
My husband lost a lot of weight when he was in the U.S. military. He was muscular, but just thinner.
But in Korea, many soldiers tend to bulk up with more muscle than they had going in. It might also have to do with their military diet, too. I think they are fed larger portions. But they often lose weight after they are discharged. (For examples, look at all of the K-pop idols before and immediately after they serve in the military. Most come out bulkier and then work to lose the extra weight.)
I find it interesting that Chen Yi and Miao Jing are still dancing that line between the Brother/Sister dynamic they grew up with, and feeling much deeper feelings that make them want to become lovers.
Aside from a few kisses (their very first one in the factory being the best one), they've done nothing else. And there are only a few episodes left.
So what will it be? Will they finally give in, or will they decide being lovers is not right for them?
ALSO Ep 28 -
LOL.....nevermind. I spoke too soon. Well, that answers THAT question.
:(

Why is Zou Yun giving Gao Zhun sleeping powder? Is he molesting GZ while he's knocked out?
WAIT.....is Zou Yun the guy who raped GZ in the car? If yes, then my brain is being SUPER slow to catch things. Ugh.

And that AI beach in the last scene was very disappointing. STOP USING AI, you stupid studios. Ugh.
One is to give an overall score on the main page.
The other is to vote for each individual episode on the EPISODES tab.
Both ways will have an affect on the overall rating going up or down.

And the music was great. I really enjoyed this series.
The audit team have been relatively careful to keep their discussions behind closed doors so as not to tip off anyone at the company.
Yet.....in Ep 30, Cen Ye and Miao Jing sit in a restaurant, openly discussing the details of the case where anyone at a nearby table might hear them.
Illogical stuff like that in dramas drives me bonkers.

Did I miss something? Who is the purple-haired person in the last scene?
I think his role in Payback is great. Hopefully he'll get cast more often now.
