That sounds awful. Does she get to decide? I wonder how these things get decided 🤔
I'm sure she has a say in it, of course.
But when I watch different series and see the same actors and actresses playing nothing but baddies (or conversely, nothing but goodies) I would just like to see them have a little more variety on their acting resumes because I know they would be great in those opposite kinds of roles.
Does Li Meng appear in any series where she's NOT a villain?
I've never seen her in a role where she is fun, kind or finds true love. I always think it's a shame when an actor or actress gets locked into a certain kind of character and they never expand beyond that.
I agree with several other comments about certain issues with Mi Yu and Ji Feng's relationship, so I won't go over those.
The one MAJOR annoyance for me is that Mi Yu NEVER lets Ji Feng explain himself. She constantly assumes the worst, cuts him off and refuses to allow him to give his side of the story.
Just once, I would love for him to raise his voice and say "WILL YOU LET ME FINISH WHAT I WAS TRYING TO SAY???????"
tae is getting married but he's not leaving the series. he even did the final fitting for his character
So this changed?
"Tae also announced that he will be dropping out of his upcoming BL drama Police in Love due to scheduling conflicts with his wedding. During a live on X (formerly Twitter), he told fans that the wedding’s timing would overlap with the series’ production, and as such, he decided to withdraw from the role of Saming."
I anticipate that, once an actor signs their rights away re: the use of their image / voice for AI projects, the studios are going to start using that agreement as an excuse to pay the actors less.
"You signed an agreement to let us use your likeness. Our studio has decided to move away from majority live-action productions to more AI productions. Therefore, we feel we should not have to pay you as much, since you won't be performing live."
I have been enjoying this series, but GEEZ......episodes 21 and 22 gave me whiplash. I'm kinda lost now.
EDIT: I just watched ep 23 and it feels like I'm on a speeding train with no brakes.
After the slow but interesting character- and story- building in earlier episodes, these last few have been moving so fast it's unreal. It almost feels like different people wrote different parts of the script.
There are still 17 episodes to go, and I HOPE it's not going to continue feeling so rushed and out of control.
I love the CP like a lot, there's no doubt that Santa was tired from the shooting. Play with one or two children,…
I know the series was filmed over the last several months, but I think the fact that Santa's group, Jasp.er, has been ramping up their promotions and performances probably added to his tiredness. He and the other members are juggling their group stuff with their acting stuff. Probably not an easy thing to do.

Does every "Special Episode" for a series really need its own page? Especially if it doesn't really contribute to the series at all?
The one for Peach Lover was.....like......85%-90% soft porn. And that's it.
It was just basically a re-hash of the NC scenes (extended, but pretty much the same) from the original 10 episodes.

In case some of you didn't know it, Chance is also a singer / songwriter. He has his own channel on YT, and his stuff is really good.
Check this one out.

NO RELEASE until the actors are paid.
