Because that's not Nice who plays Pitcha, it's Sprite Patpong Loymaping
So confusing. I thought I read somewhere that Nice was in the series.
But now looking online again, I see IMDb has Sprite listed as one of the support roles, but not Shino.
Did Shino replace Sprite in the cast, or are there supposed to be 4 support roles instead of 3, and Sprite is just missing altogether from the cast list?
I just started Ep 7, and I'm wondering why Kang Seong Jae didn't report what he overheard about the Captain's mysterious "deal" and threat against Cho Ye Rin ?
He could have asked to speak with her privately, told her he had NO evidence other than what he overheard, but that he was concerned for her safety and to be on the alert for any moves against her.
The airport videos are genuinely concerning. I was feeling sick while watching them ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
It makes me SO angry that his studio APOLOGIZED - AND offered refunds - as if the sasaengs weren't at fault!!
It infuriates me that ANY company whose actors were put in jeopardy and/or events were canceled would accept responsibility for the violent actions of the fans.
Those obsessed, demented f*ckers are responsible, NOT the studio and NOT the actor(s).
The whole Ke Lo incident feels very much like a spider/fly situation, planned by Lu Feng. I get the feeling Lu Feng has been keeping tabs on Yichen for years, just waiting for him to get divorced so Lu Feng could pounce:
- Ke Lo suddenly riding his bicycle in front of YC's car and pretending he got hit
- the "ow ow my leg hurts" act, thus making YC worry and offer to drive him to the hospital - using guilt to establish a little bit of a connection between them
- the "broken" laptop
- without permission, Ke Lo taking a peek inside a folder in the car that just happened to have YC's resume in it, so KL could make sure he had the right guy that LF told him to target.
- Ke Lo getting Yichen to buy him a new laptop because his was "broken," thus establishing a little bit more of a connection between them - this reminded me a LOT of when Lu Feng intentionally damaged his own laptop years before, so he could get YC to come over and "fix it" for him
- without permission, KL sends YC's resume to the head of some unnamed company (of course it's LF's company). This is to reassure LF that he did indeed find YC, and their scheme is now in motion.
- Ke Lo obviously having some kind of connection / relationship to Lu Feng, but being oh so careful not to slip up and say what that connection is when he walked Yichen to his "interview." (I get the feeling KL is the son of LF's sister, thus they are nephew and uncle. Nothing sexual. But KL has obviously been coached by LF on what to do and say.)
- Lu Feng deliberately letting Yichen peek through the door as he was leaving, allowing YC to see the playful banter and face-touch with Ke Lo......knowing full well that YC would misunderstand and be hurt.
This dude had better be careful.Korean fans turn on a dime from rabid fans to rabid animals at the whiff of a…
When an artist is just trying to have an actual life outside of their work, the ferocity, vindictiveness and sometimes violent retaliatory behavior of some "fans" (aka sasaengs) is actually frightening - whether those "fans" are Korean, Chinese, etc.
The first separation (the one forced by both sets of parents) was around 4 years long. Not sure about the second…
I think they'll probably change that for the series.
It would be relatively easy to make Lu Chen look older, but not Yichen, who, even though he's supposed to be in his mid 20s, still looks like he's about 14 years old.
The music in the scene where Tiger's brother is sitting in the bar discussing how he forced Tiger to shoot someone pisses me off.
It's much more suited to a comedy scene, **not** a scene where a mafia member is talking about extreme violence and a deeply traumatized younger brother.
Epic fail on the part of whomever chose that music.
This series is just.......wow. Seriously. WOW. It's unlike any other I've watched. So good.
And I tell you what.....if it weren't for MDL showing that Krist is part of the cast, I would NEVER have recognized him.
His role as the evil shaman Li Pou is INCREDIBLE. He lost a lot of weight and his face / hair / mannerisms are COMPLETELY different. He is truly immersed in his character and the story. This has got to be one of his best roles, ever.

It should have been protected in the FIRST PLACE, BEFORE the break-in at her lab, but ESPECIALLY AFTER the break-in.
I can't stand illogical crap like that.

In the series, there's no way for a kid of....say.....16 or so (just going by how old the kid looks in the series) to be Lu Feng's son.
Lu Feng would have had to father the child when he, himself, was about 15.
I don't know the answer to that one.
In the novel, other ppl said many more years passed - something like 15 or 20 years. But I haven't read the novel myself, so I can't confirm that.

All planned. No doubt whatsoever.

I have no idea who the actors are, since MDL doesn't list the cast at all. Which I find strange.
The two ML have decent chemistry, which is good.
But I cannot STAND the simpering, mostly spineless assistant of the popular BL actor character.
I'll stick with it for now and see where this series goes.

EDIT: Finished the series. It's OK. Not great. But it does make some good commentary on the unhinged "extreme fan (aka sasaeng)" culture.
He's already got a page on MDL, so why hasn't he been added to the cast?
And I tell you what.....if it weren't for MDL showing that Krist is part of the cast, I would NEVER have recognized him.
