I agree with every word you write, but just as you probably did, I watched it to the end - because of the plot…
BWAHAHAHAHA

Then THAT, my friend, is very, very funny.

I can only imagine the faces of the people tasked with reviewing that one. LOL

Yeah. I'm not sure Playstation wants that kind of PR......

I watched the first two eps......quit the series because even THEN it was so bad......and then weeks later checked out Ep 7 because I thought, "SURELY it has gotten better. Right?"

Sadly, I was wrong. I got such a huge and ridiculous laugh out of Ep 7 that I decided Oh, WTH, I'll watch Ep 8, too. And Ep 8 was just as bad, if not worse.

Someone on here recently said they were convinced that P and Pan are a real couple, not just a couple for the series because there was a level of intimacy that couldn't just be from acting. I'm inclined to agree.

And Ep 8 just confirmed that this series is one of the strangest and worst ever made, LOL.

The combination of handjobs in the shower, incessant product placement and tourism travel ad-vibe, with the ACTUAL travel boards listed in the end credits, is just bizarre beyond words.

If you are not put off by historical dramas, I would recommend “Memoir of Rati” for Friday. So far I think…
Memoir of Rati is great. I'm enjoying it a lot.

Title Sweetheart Service Spoiler
She literally did nothing. All she wants is get rid of jer ex. As a woman she can't trust any random man to pretend…
Did you miss the part where around the 10:35 mark in Ep 9, she issued a veiled threat to Minwoo after he seemed reluctant to tell Yooha about her wanting to "hire" him again?

And she's awfully willing to financially "help" the bar while Taeha is missing.

At the 5:37 mark, is she the woman who walked up the steps to the bar before he went missing and just stood there when Taeha said "We're closed" ? What might she have said to him? Is she the REASON he's missing, suddenly leaving Yooha to deal with everything, making him desperate and vulnerable because he's worried the bar will shut down when the building is auctioned?

I think she knows exactly what she's doing. She has set her sights on Yooha, and she's making sure she gets what she wants.

Title Memoir of Rati Spoiler
This series is beautiful. The real period feeling, the clothes, the hair, the stunning houses, the historical/political aspect, the music.....and once again......the chemistry and VISUALS between Great and Inn are so, so good. They are stunning.

I am enjoying it very much.

As someone else said, most actors know that acting probably won't last forever, so they prepare for their future…
Yep, I agree.

Some Thai actors are even pursuing PhDs, although I'm not sure if that means they plan to go into an academic career later.

The two I can think of right now are Mew, who is working on a PhD in industrial engineering and Up, who is working on his PhD in political science. I'm sure there are others.

wait, hang on? Mix is an actual vet? Thailand's industry is so bizarre to me. It's like acting really is just…
As someone else said, most actors know that acting probably won't last forever, so they prepare for their future by building other skill sets just in case.

Mix is a real veterinarian, Jimmy is a real doctor, and a number of well-known Thai actors also have jobs in the airline industry (pilots, airline stewards, etc), as well as being actors.

Plus many of them also start side businesses (food, fashion, real estate, talent agencies, production companies, etc) as additional income.

The end of Ep. 7 - was anyone else yelling at the screen, saying "CLOSE THE FRIDGE FIRST before you start that!!!" ????

LOL

And Jimmy is a real dentist. I will bet that it's not just for fun but that these actors know that popularity…
He's a doctor, not a dentist.

On Hot Bamee and Yummy Gyogung Jul 2, 2025
I thought Boat and Oat were an official pairing? Maybe I misunderstood.

And the series description above is SO cringe. Ew.
---------------------

"Bamee (Ramen) - the epitome of dark, tall and handsome. His muscles are to die for, and his hotness is second to none. More than anything, he's a big "eater" with a "huge appetite." Bamee is an intern in a 5-star hotel where he falls for his trainer since their first meeting.

Gyogung (shrimp wonton) - a trainer in the hotel's HR department. He may be older than Bamee by almost 3 years, but he looks young enough to pass for a college freshman! The cuteness of the young man and his lovely bangs, the glowing moon pale skin, the innocent seduction and overall "appetizing" appearance and actions make Bamee hungry for this little bowl of shrimp wonton 24/7!

"P'Gyo...my little string of...ramen...is stuck to the corner of your mouth...""
