Title Knock Out
It usually happens when you're young and in love. If you don't do it like that at 20, you will never, lol.
I can personally attest to the "acting like rabbits at 20" thing. When you meet that one person and the pheromones kick in......HOOOOO BOY.

And that's all I'm gonna say. LOL!

It's not a rule, but it depends on the pronunciation of the people themselves and how easy they pronounce it and…
I only tend to notice it if the same character said it the other way in previous interactions. Saying "Jepp" most of the time, but then slipping and saying "Jeff" instead.

Every once in a while, Pavel (who grew up in New Zealand and is fully fluent in English) forgets he's supposed to be speaking Thai, and uses the English equivalent of something.

Mostly what I've noticed is.....in Thai, the letter F is pronounced as if it were a P instead. So the name Jeff in English would be Jepp, in Thai.

In Ep 7 Pavel did that very thing, lol. He said "Jeff" instead of "Jepp." It's weird that the editors don't catch that.

Willy looks like the Korean actor Cha Woo Min from the Kdrama Study Group. I just keep seeing the similarities…
I've noticed the resemblance too, in some scenes. They could easily play brothers who grew up in different countries. Like......after their parents' divorce, one grew up with Dad in one country, and one grew up with Mom in the other.

Study Group was SOOOOOOOO freaking good. So, so, so good. And the OST was amazing, too. Loved that series.

Seriously, a SKZ song being used as the major theme song for a super gory Japanese horror film was NOT on my 2025…
I'm not either, lol. I'm happy for ANY success for them.

But now I wonder what they'll do next? LOL

That was actually Charan’s first (real) kiss! Which explains the awkwardness!😳
Ah, OK.

Also.....a theory.......

I think Mu Dai is one of the three legendary "Divine Birds" the tour guide was talking about in Ep 13. I think the "bird" is the other personality she has been sensing, and I think the bird is what takes over her body and saves her, when she's in danger.

Luo Ren is possibly another one. Not sure who the third one would be. Thirteen, maybe? Hongsha?

Ep 13

I never thought I'd be so sad for a cheaply-costumed she-bigfoot. But I honestly am. That story arc was really well done, and I was rooting for the "savage" daughter so hard. I'm pretty heartbroken at how it all turned out in the end.

I like this series much more than I thought I would when I first started watching it.

Can't wait to hear Skz in this!!
Seriously, a SKZ song being used as the major theme song for a super gory Japanese horror film was NOT on my 2025 Stray Kids bingo card.

I'm a little floored, TBH.

LOL

I love the characters. And as completely inept as Chubby is, I adore him.

Am I the only one who doesn't mind, and in fact is a little amused about, the cheap costumes and special effects?

I feel like I'm watching a story from a comic book, and I love how cheesy and fun it is.

And even with the shortcuts on the SFX budget, I REALLY like the acting. The actors / their characters feel a lot more natural and comfortable with each other than most other Chinese series I've seen.

I'm only 2 Episodes in, and the series is excellent so far. Really enjoying it.

And that creepy, CREEPY smile from the Ping Ting character at the end of Ep 2.......seriously, that sent shivers down my spine.

Ewww when Jun put out the cucumber, I got Sangmin Dinnaew flashbacks....
I had a flashback to that, too. That was such a disappointing, and toward the end, GROSS, series. Ugh.

tbh, yoon kinda scares me, i blame unforgotten night 😭
I honestly don't understand why there are side couples at all in this story. They contribute nothing, IMO.

It’s obvious Sorn cant getenough of Jun. Next week is going to be so good! Finally, Jun will take a firm stand…
Sadly, it'll be the embargo on the booty calls that affects Sorn more than Jun being hurt by Sorn's inability to be vulnerable and share his feelings. So frustrating.

Is there such thing as privacy in this show? Like private conversations or private sex? Maybe I'm just old. No…
That too, LOL.

Having a wild romp or discussing plans to overthrow someone......I'm like......HELLO???? Are you not worried someone will hear you through that shoji-style paper door, window or wall??

I've lost count how many times, in various series, that one or more of the couples are going at it like rabbits, and they never shut the door before they got busy.

KILLS me every time, lol.

A somewhat unrelated, but related observation / idea......

Is anyone else hoping that someday, there's a series or a BL where Boss and Boat play brothers? There is more than a passing resemblance, especially when they both have their hair pulled back.

They could be rival brothers, each trying to take over the family business, only to find they must join forces when there's an outside threat to the family.

One could be a university professor (Oh, how I LOVE LOVE LOVE Boat when he's wearing glasses), and one could be a total playboy. They are so different that they have drifted apart over the years, only to be drawn back together when the matriarch of the family has a serious health crisis and some big decisions have to be made.

One could be an artist who lives in a remote area on the coast, creating amazing sculptures out of steel and driftwood as he isolates his heart after having it crushed by an unfaithful partner years before. Because his family never kept in touch with each other, he's unaware that he has a half brother from a relationship that their shared father had a long time ago. One day the two brothers meet purely by accident, and even though there's an age difference, they look so much alike they begin to suspect they might be related. Each of them realizes the other one is the family connection they've been searching for all their lives, and they start to bond.

Again, these could be BL series (with Noeul and Oat as their respective partners) or they could be non-BL. Either way, I would love to see Boss and Boat play brothers in something.
