Characters (in this case, female) that are written as stupid and fawning are NOT funny, NOT interesting and they don't add anything to the story.

It's ridiculous that they're in the series at all.

I think there will be a little, but it will be a subplot.

Does anyone else feel like the Grandfather (the current king) can't be trusted?

In fact, the ONLY people I feel CAN be trusted are Charan and Chakri (Khanin's butler / assistant), and possibly Charan's friend Wethis (his name according the MDL, but the subtitles call him Vedish).

I got a weird vibe from Paul (Khanin's friend back in the UK), so the jury is out on him at the moment.

I think he's calm for 3 reasons:

1) He knows he's still in danger. The people that went after him in the UK are still out there, and he doesn't know who sent them.

2) He wants to find out what happened to his Dad (whom he believes is dead), so he knows he has to focus and pay attention.

3) He feels safe with Charan, and he knows Charan will protect him.

I'm enjoying the series so far.

My only criticism: The pacing is a *tiny* bit slow. But other than that, I like it.

I don't think it's the quality they're surprised by.

I think ppl are surprised that any BL that includes kissing - especially the few intense kissing scenes - is coming from China AT ALL, given how hard they censor things.

By the way, there's supposed to be one last special episode in July, so keep an eye out for that.

Did you see how he went around Babe's hospital bed at super speed? He was so fast Babe was startled.

I wonder if super speed is his only one. We'll have to wait and see.

MDL changed the number of episodes from 13 to 14 (because of the 12andthreequarters episode the channel kindof threw in there).

But MDL might end up changing it to 15 - it's my understanding there's going to be a special episode in July.

At the end of Ep 13, that was a flashback to a previous life in which they weren't able to stay together.

In their present life, they are together and happy. They decide to create code words so that in any future lives, they will be able to find each other again because they know they're meant to be together.

OK....this is PURE SPECULATION on my part......but does anyone else get the feeling that Jade and his mystery guy, Lit, are in a dom/sub kind of relationship?

I say that because of the way Jade reacted the few times we saw him talk to Lit on the phone. He was practically vibrating in anticipation during and after each call. Also from the way Lit spoke......like he was almost edging Jade.

If we are indeed to get at least a S2 for Top Form, it might turn out to be **quite** the NC show, lol.

Ep 11 -

OK, who else besides me was BAWLING and SMILING at the same time, all the way through the last 15 minutes of the episode starting from the scene where they walked into their new house?

I love the way this series ended. And the music was perfect.

The very last scene, though......it *almost* felt like a set-up for a Season 2? But even if it wasn't, and even though all of the questions (like WHO is Jade's lover, Lit, and why were they so mysterious about him?) didn't get answered, I'm happy.

In fact, I'd actually prefer if there wasn't a Season 2. So many shows that turn out really well make the mistake of thinking they can re-capture the magic of the first season, and more often than not, it just fails. I would hate for anything to happen like that with Top Form.

Decent first Ep. Not great, but decent. I'll watch the next one.
