As an older woman myself (almost 60), I feel compelled to honor her absolute (and PAINFUL) dedication to the role by watching the film at least once. Looking forward to it!
He's not a bad-looking guy. I've seen him look quite nice - well styled (much more casual, not in those weird suits), good hair, a LOT less forehead - but only when he's off-camera, like on vacation or at a fan meet or some other event.
But ON-camera.....ugh. He desperately needs a stylist who can do a lot better.
1 - There's a blooper around the 20:08 time stamp. In that scene, Thatdanai is in two places - to the very right of the screen, and reflected in the mirror. Just when Khanin bends down to pick his sword up off the floor, Thatdanai's figure in the mirror moves to adjust his glasses. But his figure on the right of the screen doesn't move.
2 - Around the 25:35 time stamp when Khanin is standing in the hallway holding his coffee cup, the music suddenly gets very loud with some brass instruments, and then a couple of seconds later, the music SOUNDS like it's going to transition into some other kind of music, but it's abruptly cut off in a weird way when the scene transitions to the breakfast table.
There were a few other spots that weren't awful, but they could have been smoother.
Every episode is INCREDIBLE. I cannot get over the depth of talent from Henry and the Korean performers. Absolutely the best ear candy I've heard in a long time.
In case anyone wants to know more about the "world building" aspect of The Next Prince, the BLush channel on YouTube has a video that breaks down all kinds of stuff, including an explanation of the kingdom, the four family houses that make up the power bases in the kingdom, etc. It's pretty interesting.
There were a few choppy moments - which is surprising considering all the time they've had (3 years) to make sure everything is coherent and smooth - but it was pretty good overall.
I'm a little disappointed that the first kiss - the Emmalian Kiss - was already in the 1st ep, and at a cheesy college party, too.
Even though we all know Khanin and Charan are destined to be together, I was hoping for more of a buildup before that happened.

About a year ago, did you see the short video that suddenly dropped, hinting that there would definitely be a season 2? In the short clip, we could see Way (or was it "Chris" ?) hiding in the woods, watching the guys cry at Way's grave. We also got to see Tony, too.
Were they twins separated at birth or something, since in the first ep of Season 2, Pete touched "Chris" and saw that, apparently, he'd never met Way in person?
Or is "Chris" also an Alpha (or yet a third Enigma) with the ability to block Pete's senses?
I'll have to watch it later, but the ONE request I have from the series is that they don't overuse the "Papa" and "Mama" thing too much. It's OK every once in a while, but gets annoying when it's said too often.
Ep 8 - After Touch got the thumbdrive from the sasaeng, why did he secretly meet the social media guy to sell him the thumbdrive, if - in Ep 9 - the two of them were going to meet with the head of Sigma Entertainment in person, ANYWAY? They could have skipped the whole "meet in secret" part.
Ep 9 - re: the photos - they CLEARLY showed Akin, but Jin's face was pretty obscured.
Since the photos showed Akin VERY clearly, how in the world did Jin and Judy get away with saying the photos were of THEM?? How did people magically forget Akin was RIGHT THERE in the pics, clear as day?
Also........ just because Jin and Judy claimed during the interview that THEY were the two people in the photos, practicing for a scene from an upcoming drama.........how was that supposed to stop the a-hole social media guy from releasing the more damaging photos??
Or did those other, more damaging photos NOT actually exist?
^^^^^^ Early in Ep 9, during the meeting with Touch, the social media jerk and the head of Sigma Entertainment, it was stated that the sasaeng didn't get any photos other than the ones spread out on the table that clearly showed Akin's face - meaning more salacious photos did not exist.
Was Akin only led to believe more photos existed, when they didn't, so the social media a-hole could blackmail Akin into the "something spicier" he mentioned, which I assume means forcing Akin to sleep with him??
Before the lovey dovey reunion between Jin and Akin, the silver ring, etc.......why didn't Ep 9 show Touch being fired, since he's the one who sold the photos to the social media a-hole? Did Jin and Akin not realize it was him? If not, and he was allowed to keep his job, will he still be a mole for Sigma??
ALSO......a question about something from a different episode......
Who is Lit, the mysterious, slightly creepy guy that Jade spoke to on the phone in Ep 5, that sounded like an old lover of his? I assume it's the guy whose face we can't see in the pic that gets shown every now and then, where Jade is facing the camera but the guy standing next to him in the pic is turned away from the camera.
^^^^^^ So far, I see no reason at all for that arc to even be included. There's been no development on that whatsoever. It's like......"ooooh, possible side story to give Jade a little more depth." And then just.......NOTHING.
Ji Ho Geun's eyes are YUMMY. I love, love, love deep, intense eye contact. He also used them to great effect in the BL series he starred in, called Jazz for Two.
The Bedmate Game was interesting, but definitely light fare. Nothing too deep in any of the characters or the plot. Not bad, but not something I would watch again.

Some people might find the Meet Yourself series boring because there's no big action, and a lot of the scenes are spent on the everyday lives of the characters. And the romance is VERY slow burn.
I happen to love long, gentle slice-of-life series and slow burn romances. This one did hold my interest because of the qualities I mentioned in my original comment, plus the acting is very good. So I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I like the world building. That's a cool element.

I can't believe there are only a few episodes left. I will miss this series, the wonderful characters and the beautiful village so much.
