Fan Chang Yu's unconventionalness as an FL is actually what drew my attention to this drama (other than ZLH's face card ofc). It's so refreshing to see an FL being physically strong while also being lower class who's able to speak up for herself and protect her family without the ML's constant intervention and protection. It shows that this CP will be one where both the leads rely on each other, rather than the FL being timid and needing constant protection and help from the ML to just survive. I hate when they have an FL like that, because it makes it seem like she won't be able to live without the ML, which makes it more like a guardian-child relationship rather than a healthy romantic relationship between two adults.

After taking a look at the cast list and the previews, I'm pretty sure there won't be any big new characters for a while. We may get some more after the war arc starts, but there's still like 5-ish episodes until we get there.

By 2CP, are you referring to the grand princess and the ML's friend or Yu Qian and Qi Min? I'm assuming the first because that would still be royal blood, but just to make sure.

From what I know, there's going to be a separation around episode 16, and the reconciliation is around episode 23-25. But this is just speculation. But during this time, she likes trains and joins the army and things like that, so a character change from her current slightly innocent demeanour to a more imposing general-like aura, I guess. I haven't read the novel, though, so this is all just info I've picked up from the comments and stuff.

Also, how the table broke only AFTER he left. It made a lasting impact, showing just how strong he really is. Both mentally and physically. I almost had chills from how imposing he looked. I also loved the switch up on his face the second he saw Chang Ning lmao.

Consider my mind blown, because what!? My mind can't even begin to guess how they would even get to that point. So instead, I'm going to ignore it and just stay happy that she will remain in the story.

Book readers, does Chang Ning stay relevant after the war arc? I'm loving her character so much and her relationship with the ML. I hope they keep her as an important character throughout the whole drama, she's so cute and can also act as a cute relief from heavy plot and war stuff later on.

I usually hold off until the end to give a rating too! I like to finish the show and give myself some time to reflect before deciding how high a place it will hold in my heart afterwards. Though if it continues as it is, rating POJ is going to be one of the easiest 10/10s I'll give.

If I'm not wrong, Prince Changxin is the rival country's ruler and the person everyone is aiming to take down. And as for Qi Min and Yu Qian, in one of the previews for the next eps, he is seen wearing a mask in a hazy frame. I'm guessing one of the two was intoxicated, and they did the deed, and someone fled the scene before the other woke up, leading to a one-night stand and her being pregnant. But I haven't read the novel, so what I said about their relationship is completely my own guess.

Based on the previews for the upcoming episodes, I'm thinking he's definitely the father of her kid.

I know oml. Every time he does something lovey-dovey while being in denial, I just giggle and kick my feet. I think he was slowly realizing that he's falling in ep 11 when he made that pinky promise to Chang Ning, but I can't wait for him to fully unleash his feelings and devour our girl in his love!!
