If there’s a problem with the age gap between the actors (10 years- I think), why even bother with the production of this series?…it’s not as if it’s true IRL-it’s just a show where the characters are depicted by actors—they’re ACTING…it’s the producer/s or casting directors that make the decision who to hire. They know what they’re doing—creating controversies for marketing…the ones that benefit or not are the actors & actresses who knowingly agree to come on board the project…but who am I to say, I’m just a person who likes watching different series and trying to enjoy them. I really don’t care about the bts drama/ content. Just my 2 cents…no quarrels with anyone here.

If this is based on a novel, has anyone read/ finished it? Is it a happy/ sad ending? I’m getting a little bit impatient with the series at this point (episode 15)…

So I bit the bullet and decided to finish the whole series (since there was nothing else to watch 😆)… I don’t dislike it but I don’t like it either. I’m all for female empowerment but the FL character is way too entitled imho; she is also admirable in terms of her determination to protect the people she loves but at the same time unreasonable when it came to understanding and forgiving her parents for their decisions in life….I guess it’s the storyline and because of the director & screenwriters 😆 ahh well, I am no expert and it did provide something to watch while waiting on a new series!…happy viewing, everyone!

This may be an unpopular opinion but I don’t like the FL character and the storyline…I might just put it on hold (or maybe try to watch a couple more episodes and decide from there)…

Where can I watch all the complete episodes? I’m only up to episode 34…

Currently watching episode 12 and I’m a bit annoyed by the child that the FL is fostering-couldn’t he tell that he’s being manipulated by the “fake FL”? Ugh…I know it’s only the storyline but it’s really irritating 😠

Please tell me…HE or SE for season 1&2? I don’t mind knowing 😊

Truly enjoyed this series but I do have some questions…what happened to the crown prince; his storyline was left unfinished. How did the Emperor and Empress leave the book and come back to the real world?

To clarify…all the series that I watched (which he starred in), his character died 🥴…no offense 🙏🏼

Ugh! 😩 I started to watch this because of the cast but slowly became disappointed as the story progressed until it was too late to quit. I had to finish watching & frankly it was painful…my takeaway from watching this is that I will never watch any more series where RJL is the lead because his character will always most surely perish (SMH) 🥺

Ugh! IDK if I can complete this series (I’m already on ep.29); yet I’m grinding my teeth watching the remaining episodes…the FL has been MIA for the most part and everything is dragging along SMH 🤦🏻‍♀️…I read somewhere that the storyline changed a lot and that the original writer wasn’t happy about the screenplay adaptation. I can only hope that the ending would be better 🙏🏼

Enjoy this mini binge watch but a little distracted by the FL’s face makeup which kind of resembles a mime 🤡since it’s too white for her complexion and you can practically see where her hairline begins…is it just me? 🥴

I’m just on E6 and find that I’m a bit dismayed with the fact that the FL seems to be a little slow to sort/ reason out the situation with the ML. I dislike that both she & the ML don’t communicate or talk things out—probably to drag out the storyline but by golly, they both need to start opening up with each other—I’m hoping they will in the long run that’s why i’m still watching (I’m not too fond of stories dragging out with the main couple just failing to really jive)…here’s hoping for positive vibes in the coming episodes AND a good HE 🙏🏼 please.

HE or SE?

Not sure if I can finish this; I started the series because of both the leads but Song Zu Er’s character here is annoying because she’s too childish—liked her in her other roles (especially in POB), but this is too cringy for me. I’ll give it a few more episodes and see if the character gets better.
