i love how wrong the entire synopsis is. The first 4 episodes misleads us. But then we find out the characters true identities. It takes 7 episodes to actually get to the real plot, about the dragon deity and stuff. the story is not about some demon hunters finding a broken tailed heart eating fix demon , like tge synopsis suggests. I feel like they overly complicated the plot. to the point i had to read simplified sunneries from youtube. Every single characters backstory kept getting more complicated and before i could understand it, they'd thorw in more new plot twists. the timeloop felt so unnecessary

also nirvana in fire seems to be really highly rated on MDL yet I’ve never heard of it online. I’ve never seen its edits or any videos or reels of this cdrama, yet it is the most highly rated historical cdrama, is it really that good? because I’ve never seen other people talk about this cdrama

i have had “ love and redemption” in my watchlist for a long time,, but i am intimidated by the number of episodes. also some people complained that the cgi isn’t good. one thing i hate in historical cdrama is the male charecters look too feminine to me because of their long hair. but i will try to ignore their hair and watch it since you recommended it, I’ll try watching the other recommendations too. i did watch a historical cdrama once for the first time” love between fairy and devil” it is a very popular cdrama but i just hated the FL being soo weak and dumb and the ML treating her as an object. The romance felt forced, so i dropped it

hey you said you’ve watched better dramas than this, and its not the best. I understand, but then at least recommend something better than “alchemy of souls” because i simply cannot move on😭usually all historical dramas are based off real kings and real places and also mostly about the king and palace. but the plot and concept of this kdrama is simply soo unique. I don’t care if its a cdrama ir kdrama or thai, Just recommend me a drama similar to thus one, historical but also fictional😭

Kdrama and cdramas are too hyped. I mean thai dramas have a lot of gems too. Did ya'll not watch F4 thailand. It's really good. I guess if it didn't make it to the best Asian drama of 2021 list then it'll sure make it to best Asian drama of 2022.
