charecters that will win your heart, a comfort drama
meanwhile everyone is hyping around my demon , this beautiful masterpiece got swept under the rag. Not many people are talking abthis drama. At first i was also very excited about my demon byt after episode 10 it got soo boring that I didn’t wanna watch it anymore, the story was soo cliche. on the other hand welcome to samdalri kept me hooked till the last episode. from the first glance it looks like homecha. well it is similar to homecha. but many simple slice of life kdramas often feel slow and boring eventually . Byt tahts the speciality of welcom to samdalri. the drama isn’t too slow, in the first few episodes it’s a bit slow but then it keeps getting better and better. What i liked the most about this drama are the side characters. each and every charecter is soo beautifully written. From young pil’s father to samdal’s parents and sisters, everyone’s own story was very intresting to watch. i think this one thing lacks in my demon which is good side charecters with their own story instead of revolving around the main leads. The message of this drama is absolutely beautiful as well. The last episode just feels like a warm hug of a cold dayWas this review helpful to you?
potrayed the most realistic and healthy relationship ever
in one word what makes this cdrama great and soo much better than other cdramas is that THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THE MAIN LEADS and the fact that how REALISTIC it is. the story itself isn’t much, simple plot. and some people find it boring because of the lack of drama . But to me thats a plus point, no unnecessary drama, conflict and misunderstanding between the characters. often times the relationships potrayed in shows are unrealistic, but the relationship between the main leads is realistic, they face general problems that all couples face but they both are supportive of each other and communicate their problems. and another thing is that GREEN FLAGS?, and the romance was slowly built up, not in a rush, which will gove you butterflies. i rearly watch cdramas and I don’t really like cdramas because how long they are and how they drag the story too much, byt even tho hidden love has more episodes than a typical 16 episodes kdrama, i still enjoyed every pit of it. I also fell in love with the ostWas this review helpful to you?
the female lead gave me second hand embarrassment
at first the story doesn’t seem that bad with the cliches of past lives and stuff but the female lead just got on my nerves soo much . Now a days kdramas are about strong and smart female charecters. But here the fl didn’t seem to have any self respect or common sence whatsoever. and also I couldn’t really feel any chemistry between the leads. It didn’t even look like the ML was falling is love, It just looked like he was doing all that against his will . and then suddenly confesses his love. and then again saying it had nothing to do with the potion was weird. and the ML technically was cheating on his then girlfriend. They tried to cover it up by making that girlfriend a cheater as well, otherwise the ML would’ve been bashed for it. anyways i rearly have kdramas soo muchWas this review helpful to you?
never seen anything like this before
The plot and the story is just soo different, unique and intriguing. at least when it comes to historical kdrama, nothing else compares to “Alchemy if souls”. That is because all historical kdramas revolv around the real history or real historical kings or joseon. But AOS is totally different from this perspective. its not the typical historical setting, doesn’t always revolve around the crown prince and king. EVEN THE COSTUMES AREE SOO GOOD, its nit exactly treditional korean hanbok. the outfits are a bit glamorised version of the treditional outfits. even the attire if the king and crown prince seems to be better and a modernised version of the traditional outfits. AND THE VISUALS ARE OUTSTANDING. What makes a kdrama great is its side charecters and their depths. I absolutely loved the second lead COUPLES. Soo much is going on in the second half if the show that it gets very confusing from time to time. i still found a lot if plot holes. Yet i enjoyed it, and the ending is just……no spoilers tho. i wished for a better ending but as we all know season 2 is there. The first few episode of season 2 is a mess, even tho they explained it still it feels a bit illogical in some cases.anyways I absolutely enjoyed it, the production and ost were also 10/10. I WISH NETFLIX PRODUCED MORE OF THESE GLAMORISED AND FICTIONAL HISTORICAL KDRAMAS, ITS JUST WAYY BETTER THAN THE ONES BASED OFF THE REAL HISTORY AND PLACE

A heartwarming drama that will make you cry and laugh at the same time with a unique plot
I’ve been watching dramas for many year but I think despite the fact that twinkling watermelon is a new kdrama compared to my past favourite, it has achieved the top spot among my favourite kdramas of all time. Nothing compares to this kdrama. i don’t think I’ve ever cried soo much while watching ANY SHOW. and even tho it will make you cry, it has a happy ending and the story isn’t gloomy or sad either. its just heart touching in its own way and will also make you laugh. Here the actor that played “yoon chung ah”, her acting was outstanding, the way she communicated her feeling with just her eyes and hands is fascinating. the story isn’t too slow either. Was this review helpful to you?
