They're blinded because they're their favorites. The way she reacted in episode 2 is like, i know everything is going to be alright. She wasn't the character at all she's just herself who read through the script. ML is really bad compared to the FL.

Ive waited from 2022 to 2024 and honestly I'm really disappointed, up to 20 episode without a solid plot.

Okay, two episodes and I really don't know whether should I continue or not. The acting is really off for me. The contrast is kind of blinding my eyes as if I'm watching contemporary drama.

They really wanted this to be a BL drama but you know due to censorship they have to water it down. Though they didn't build romantic relationship with Shen Jinzhen her arc is really good and I really enjoyed it. She believes in her faith and die for it, well thats is revolution. Dang Yibo is goddamn cute in this drama and he really carry the show me and the assemble of the support roles have their own story, they didn't just existed only for the main leads. I really appreciate this appreciate this drama, its the only Cdrama I manage to finish in first quarter of 2024 and its really sad that is quantity over quality for most of the entertainment industry. Also its my second min gou drama I've watched for almost 4 years in my cdrama journey. The last 8 episodes seems really chopped up that they didn't build most the story like in the beginning, overall is a good watch and I give 8.5.

Next is going to be In the name of brother which I really hope its going be good just like Golden Journey. Then A lonely hero's journey since iqiyi is bombarding us with Min Gou dramas😂😂😂

I'm halfway through it but since day 1 of this its obvious the communist party are going to win and they're the good guys in very this kind of genre, its history!
