Ahh! first half is watchable for me and after that I would say that everything went south. The world setting is a mess for a fantasy genre and I totally didn't understand in what kind of fantasy world they're living, perhaps is my thick head fault?! The CGI is not eye catching and it has some similarities when compared to Evernight season 1 but the latter is exhilarating I didn't know I missed it till now, that crackling and surging of magic made it feel like the magic has life too. TBW CGI is just flowing like that without any amusement. The basic plot is so simple and the soundtracks for the action scenes are not intriguing and BGMs too, I'd only enjoyed one bgm and I thinking that it's sung by one of artist that sung one of the Ashes of Love songs. I would just say that it's slightly better than MTC! 7.5 for me!
Ahhhhh! Actually I didn't started this drama but the rating is very and very low, so mdler's are becoming super toxic netizen. I will soon start beglecting some ratings and give some dramas a chance to know whether they're worthwhile or not because I don't usually check out dramas rated less than 8.0

You're absolutely right. I would like to try this something new too but not while it's airing because I hate watching single episode in a week. I think China is practicing communism that's the reason they've this kind of bans on certain things which is really annoying for time regression. Certain Characters of book are changed due to their so called policy for many time travel novels. For BL banning I don't really see any fault for that because of the toxicity of BL fans are disgusting though I would like to watch many BL costume dramas too.
I heard that this is like version version of classic Chinese genre ‘Xianxia’ so kdrama want to rob us from cdrama! You should just stay in your shaman things and others it suit you well.
Luckily is not idols based drama. The first two episodes are amazing and I hope the pacing to keep going at this rate! The long wait didn't go in vain.
