First of all, this is a total disappointment to all dramas that fall on range of 8.7-10.0 in my very opinion. With all the fillers and boring scenes that this drama acquired just to push it to 20 eps and make alot of money. If its 16 episodes from the beginning it could've been better than this poor written ruckus in the script.
There's no well detailed explanation as why some can practice cultivation/magic but only the powerful family can do it, the f**k why??? We ought to get some brief review of it not that very detailed.
Their proved investigation is only based on conjured theory from their brain cells not based on evidences, in most certain cases what your eyes saw might not be real truth, the f**k why.
The acting of all cast are not top notch, it's all mediocre. I didn't feel the chemistry of the leads at all except that I really like their bickering and thats the sole reason I'm into it from the very beginning. Their wire work is pretty awful without any passion & elegance in it so I don't whose problem is that, director or the cast? How can someone fly up like he's just pulled in and released from catapult or like ball has been shot, tell us if he's superman or not! uhhhhh very disgusting plus that hunched back in all their flying scenes 🤮 Ohh! I remember when Mu Deok unsheathed her sword and killed another soul shifter inside ice stone, I'd screamed at that scene “Total and perfect Cdrama move” 😱 😱 😱 C'mon director, it's embrassing!
Apart from the plot imitated from Xuanhuan of Chinese drama world their school costume is exact copy of early Tang dynasty male costume. Its not wonder it was like 5.2 in Douban. Probably you've been rooting for this for a while that's why you guys overrated it here, I mean kdrama fans. I'm really sorry, this is the highly overrated drama of 2022. It's like 8.0 for me 'cause the pacing is not that bad at all but this last 5 episodes I have to fast forward it while watching. It went tremendously downhill this last episodes!

I didn't like Wang Hedi in Ever Night 2 talk less of Miss The Dragon, but now I'm head over heels for him. Again, I didn't expect much from this drama but it turns out to be better than Immortal Samsara. Best light Xianxia drama of all time,and best Xianxia of this year. Everything is well done!

Honestly, I've watch it just because of Cheng Yi & Yang Zi. If it's other cast in the drama then I would've been out already, nothing is interesting in the plot. I've wished that their mortal life would be more interesting than in the heaven realm but it turns out be very boring and lot of plot holes. I'm glad someone talked about this rape thing, it really serve no purpose for the rapist as they didn't even met with her at the first place. Or his target is Wen Rou but she defended her and the fate falls on her. I realize that in mostly ancient drama for an innocent & loveable character to be turn into power hungry and scheming they usually set the plot as that, the same thing happen Autumn Ballad & Princess Agent too, it's really heart wrenching for me.Take example of Sansa Stark if you'd GOT you'll get my meaning, she survived the den of wolves and finally learned her lessons. It's high time to stop including that.
I must say that ep 21,22 & 23 are pretty dark for Lei Chun and I ended up shedding tears for her in my first time for a drama, I usually get watery eyes not dripping tears. Overall, the plot is amazing but it has been dragged to much, it shouldn't exceeded like 30 eps for a simple uncomplicated plot. The action scenes are pretty amazing. I rated it 8/10 because of it slow pacing!
