I could literally watch an entire episode of just with You Na playing her character because yes, she´s rude af but goddangit she´s so funny. Her comedic timing is everything. She reminds me of Yoo Ri and even Hwa Young in My father is strange.
Shameless but so hilarious. It would be so weird when she eventually tones down her attitude and becomes suddenly nice 🤣🤣🤣
This is super fun. I just don't understand how people are so hung up on the FL of previous season. Are you here…
Exactly. Their loss if this is what they´re paying attention too. Like I understand the disappointment that people have regarding FL´s replacement although I am content that we got Eun Chae instead. But if they are going to watch s2 and continue commenting that, they won´t be able to appreciate the actual plot which regardless looks promising. Like how can you watch ep 3 which btw great episode (super creepy, mysterious but one of the most fascinating build up so far) and just still conclude with I miss the old FL.. Its the lack of respect for the art of the storyline unfolding and the cast playing their characters...
And I like the way they are handling the FL´s replacement here either way and overall transition from s1 so far
idk maybe it’s just me but i don’t think the FL is a bad representation of kpop fans at all! she’s honestly…
i agree. I just knew people would have a problem with FL one way or another. She´s a fangirl and as someone who enjoys her k-pop, she surprisingly feels lik such a genuine and positive representation. How supportive she is of Lee Chan and she balances being diehard fangirl and doing her job. Yes, she is a bright bubbly girl (maybe she comes off as a bit ditzy-like lol) but when is work she will fully focus on that. She´s not unprofessional at her job and she has her own goals and dream (and maybe some more character depth could help) but I think she is such a great character. Her private life which also has our FL being a fangirl was so much more than this in many ways but so fun and super engaging, she was just so crazy LOL. like you said its literally a rom com and classic K-drama with the fluffy and silly romance moments. It feels like there´s such a distaste for this genre and those "cringe scenes" which yeah, it can be too much but also just fun. But what I appreciate about K-dramas its that it continues to produce these romcom dramas and that I appreciate. Obviously, these dramas like other genres can be a hit or miss but I just feel so grateful for them either way!
Loved ep 3 more than the first two since we´re really delving into the cases now. Great team work and dynamics between the leads and the rest of the unit. Eun Chae has that natural charisma and here she is so natural as a team leader but knows how to banter and have fun especially with ABH´s character.
I know that TMRIH had mixed reviews but it was truly one of my personal favorites of 2024. Pan Seok had such an ability to make the most mundane and simple scenes feel so captivating and special in his dramas. I felt such an emotional connection to his directing.
What a loss to the K-drama industry but glad he got to finish one more gem before his passing. ♥️ I look forward to watching it soon.
https://youtu.be/PLx5P56BA5w?si=xn5CPNNKt-ZTsEDZI like Eun Bin's floral dress. She looks beautiful and it suits…
Let me tell you I was floored when I saw her in that dress. So beautiful and so classy and probably favorite outfit of her so far. Its also totally my style and I would 100% wear that dress 😍😍
You may have been expecting something else. Or the mix of a modern palace life is throwing it off for you.
You perfectly described how I feel about this drama. We´re rushing rather than savoring and that means character arcs feels shallow and lacking depth and substance.
OMG WAS THAT TAEYEON'S VOICE IN THE OST AT THE END!!!!!!!!!
The fact that I had to scratch my brain soo hard for a minute because I couldn´t put my finger on who´s voice it was. Probably because its been so long I´ve heard Taeyeon´s voice that it felt so weird but so right to hear her again.
You underestimate them lol. I saw comments defending him doing tax evasion, saying he was right for doing it,…
I think a lot of these people who make these comments genuinely do not understand how the world works, are young or never had a job in their life, and yes don´t understand the function of taxes. If everyone was doing what he did, there would be no welfare state.
Are kids supposed to be given candies like that? Wouldn't they accidentally swallow it and get it stuck in their…
Yeah, it kinda looked like he was gonna choke on the one TH gave to him. I mean didnt he literally vomit from the first chocolate he was given back at the funeral place... But these two leads are just new and too inexperienced with babies LOL.
That scene where LMH´s son gets abused by his mom was really tough and emotionally gut-wrenching to watch. I felt so heartbroken for him and how scared he must have been. I could only watch barely few seconds before skimming since I was so disgusted. On top of being strangled by LJY which caused his death, what a sad sad and tragic fate for this precious child.
The way this drama did not hesitate to show how deeply atrocious human beings can be and unfortunately that is also real life. We do live in a fallen world where sins of murder and all kinds of abuse are so pervasive.
