I agree. I don’t think he fits the role. he is younger than his co-lead but looks much older. He doesn’t look like a high school student. I felt the same way in Takara’s Treasure. The semes in both fit their manga characters though. I’ve been trying to ignore the acting and the mismatch. I think I’d prefer it if they gave him a role where he’s in a workplace setting- it would fit better for my brain. (he apparently played a support role in Therapy Game, but I don’t remember him.)
The gym scene was crazy- bro has NO shame and I’m here for it. I like that they didn’t water down “teenage boy” hormones too much to be unbelievable here. The balcony scene- bro wanted to do more than just sniff…🤭
In the end, I read both mangas, so I’m looking forward to how this plays out in live action.

The stalker bus guy is WAY creepier. The stuff where Taishin’s trying to figure out what kind of “like” he feels toward Takara is way different (he’s accidentally drunk, not sick)- there are more sweet moments/conversations between the two as a result. No lost kid or fireworks, but there IS a piggyback ride. Did I mention the bonus chapter?! They’re super cute as a couple- I wonder why they didn’t keep it more to the original and cleaned it up so much…?
I still enjoyed the live action, but I’m lk hoping a more “daring” production picks it up for a less censored version more true to the book because the story flows well as originally written and the ending feels more realistic for two college boys and more “closed”.

Does anyone else notice that, though BJane is still doing contracts- that is, people come to him for help and he gives it for an exchange (as a venture capitalist). But his contracts are positive rather than helping people who did wrong? I feel like he changed in a positive way after Put died. He still does contracts and uses his money as a “favor” for those seeking his help, but the favors aren’t questionable like before - y’all get what I’m trying to say? The experience with LJane doubting him and accusing him and not trusting anything he said he to have influenced him quite a bit to make this change.
Dan could have just stayed gone imo. I never liked that guy- he has Ted Bundy vibes written all over his “lure-you-to-your-doom friendly” smile. He needs to take a long walk off a short pier. These two have enough to go through without him spawning back into their lives. I hope Red Flag LJane gets his shit together this time around… He’s always doing shit he shouldn’t do to BJane. That preview for next week is a PRIME example of a toxic behavior. Stay out means stay out. I hope he does…but I somehow doubt it. We shall see…
