After watching the first 2 episodes, I think I understand the premise. I think Xia Cha and Hai Yuan are souls destined for each other, no matter the time. Hai Yuan keeps getting senses of deja vu and Xia Cha lost everyone young, including his wife. What if his wife is reincarnated as Hia Yaun and this was the universe’s way to reunite them for some mystic reason? The age difference wouldn’t matter because they are destined souls and souls don’t really have an age- if the premise is reasoned like this. I’m sure it takes several episodes for this closeness to cross the invisible age barrier, but despite Xia Cha’s lived age, he’s stuck in Ze Fang’s body now and must grow accustomed to the difference. It would be stranger, I think, for Hia Yaun to open his heart to Xia Cha in Ze Fang’s body, only to have the soul of Ze Fang and his personality return after falling for Xia Cha’s gentle soul. I imagine the aversion he felt for Ze Fang would also return, but with the added sorrow and confusion after growing close to Xia Cha.
I don’t know. But I’m willing to keep an open mind in this. Rebirth, transmigration, and reincarnation don’t make complete sense if you’re of the more traditionally “western” religious mindset. I’m not (believing more so in the “eastern” religious mindset of reincarnation than the “western” of one life and done, so I guess it’s easier for me to get past the age thing.
Either way, I enjoyed E1 and 2. Looking forward to next week and the obvious shenanigans and blunders Xia Cha will get into while adapting to Ze Fang’s body and life.
Um, we’re we supposed to believe the drunk “kiss” was actually a full on kiss? Because their lips barely touched. Like, their heads moved like they were, but the distance was like two very straight and slightly homophobic guys were forced to kiss and told to “make it look real”.
OMG “I’m gay” in a KBL. Craziness, and yet so long overdue.
As with what others said, I wish for more episodes. the NC scene was so sweet and romantic, though. Very well shot and acted, I think. I think this scene is truly where you feel the reciprocal connection between the two. (Oh, and that thread of saliva was a detail I didn’t know I needed. Like most webtoons have in their scenes, so I wonder why more BLs don’t have it.) The music during the scene was well-planned, as well. I honestly think that any other selection would have made the scene less appealing.
I really need a second season where they develop our oblivious Seungjin and every patient and observant Eunho. I wished for at least 2 more episodes to lead them to an obvious happy conclusion, but I also kinda get the leading open ending where viewers draw their own conclusions.
Overall, a definite rewatch for me. Finally I can charge through without stopping. 😊I’ll add this series to my frequent rewatchings of other KBLs like Blueming, Love for Love’s Sake, Semantic Error, A Time of Fever, and Eighth Sense, to name a few).
How to make it i need yt premium or how to buy it please i cant find it
Subscribing alone won’t get you access. You need to pay for the channel membership. And iPhone users need to use a computer to access the membership options.
wish me and my strong will to last yall. i won't watch until tomorrow when both eps are out, so i can watch them…
I like to watch both episodes in 1 day, too, and usually wait until the second day to watch. It’s difficult because IG reels are insane- flooded with recaps from the episode. I have to avoid IG on Mondays.
Did the gagaoolala website crash or is just me? 💀 It was fine just a couple minutes ago 😃😃
Crazy. The website/App are tweaking out frfr. That’s how popular the series is. Well deserved frfr. Guess I’m watching it after I start work instead of before ☹️
Ah man. I’m glad I held off last week’s episode (it was difficult as hell) so I could watch last week and this week’s episodes together. This episode of Jun holding all the cards but still being drawn to Sorn - it was all about him setting boundaries and holding Sorn accountable and I’m here for it. Next two episodes are gonna be fun, now that Sorn has his head outta his ass. The visit home as a couple will be interesting. Openly whipped Sorn is the version I’m ready for. But I lowkey think Jun really likes possessive and dominant Sorn too much to not tease and encourage that side to pop out, especially in the bedroom (or bathroom, or car, or hallway…).
For real! That series was such a disappointment. It sucks because the two had such amazing chemistry. I loved…
OMG, you’re so right. He just came out and said it: I’m gay. Or bi. YES BABY! And we LOVE to hear (and see) it. Pigs are flying. Hell is freezing. The breath I’ve been holding can be released. Snowballs have been spotted in Hell. The works!
The absence of serious communication issues is indeed very buttocks, bum, derrière, rump, rear, tush. 😂Typos…
ONG I really despise how this app refuses to let autocorrect work. The number of times I have to go back and edit my post because of a random typo is ridiculous. But this one was amusing 😉 😊
Here are my honest, unhinged thoughts on episodes 5 and 6:Episode 5 is the PERFECT sugary sweet fluff you'd want…
I REALLY hope they stick to the manhwa. Even though it’s ongoing (on Lezhin anyway). Either way, I love these two together. Uoure so spot on about our Jungwoo’s heart- he is so open. Our guy just wants to shout it from the rooftops, while our Jiwon wants to keep him safe from hurts he knows is coming. Jiwon is me. I wrote it in my comment from today that I think it’ll end happily with acceptance, as that’s the kind of story this is. It’s not gonna delve too deep- there aren’t enough episodes or minutes for that. It’s a cute feel-good series focusing only on love is love and not society’s harsh reality on going against the grain- ESPECIALLY going against the grain in S.Korea. Regardless, unless they somehow manage to botch the last episode, I’ll likely rewatch this many times. These two are just so damn cute. 🥰
