I haven't read the novel myself too, but I read comments here and there that the novel's WS is more red flag. Just beware if it is your cup of tea or not 😄

For historical romance with palace politic & rebirth theme : The Story of Kunning Palace, The Princess Royal

After finish 36 episodes, I demand more. I feel like there are some scene that the writer owes me. Given 40 episodes maximum rules, they should have space to smoother the ending.

- I want XC being recognize more for do the final battle alongside Wei
- I want WS come home with his family waiting, a proper reunion and could see baby FF for the first time
- I want WS meet his cousin WY, thanks him for defending Wei with some of brotherhood moment
- I want WS and XQ come to WL grave too with others F3 and XT (although I actually never ever want WL die, he and XT are my favorite couple)
- And finally, I want XQ deliver next baby boy just like in novel epilogue, this time with WS present and as a fulfill of flourishing descendant promise

Yeah, come on, there are many ways to make him not dead. I even try to think some scenario because of this. For example, since he suspect something happen when buy orchird, he could investigate more before personally come to Qiao Yue. 😩

Yeah, sometimes in other drama I don't know whether they done the deed or not. But here, from the dialogue, action and aftermath... very smooth, clear, make me shy (in good way)

Yes, happy ending. 2 secondary character unfortunately died which is very sad but many still alive and our ML and FL have happy ending with their daughter

Yeah, the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree.
Grateful it is XQ who married with WS, otherwise it would be different story with many people became victims and peace cannot be achieved

TPOB really just getting better and better per episode and Ep. 32 just wow me in many ways
Even I'm not finish it yet until 36 but I can already tell you that this drama step up many level in terms of historical romance drama
- The way ML & FL communicate and how they gradually gain trust
- Repay hatred with kindness and also philosophy of water, overcome hardness with softness
- The Cheerleading squad. FL side and ML side. Many misunderstanding are solved because XT and WL communicate and plus the other 3 generals & advisor
- The way they insert comedy in a good timing
- Kiss scene and bed scene. I have never seen such a smooth way they can deliver these scenes. It makes me think that maybe sometimes it's not the problem to pass the censors but how smart the drama team & actors deliver it

Thank goodness this gem drama wasn't shelves for much longer. It comes in perfect way and timing
After many Ning Ge SE dramas and also SZE's, finally we could get HE we deserves

It's in her backbone, her character from her mom and dad too. We cannot expect more. Yes, DQ is soft and kind, just like her mother that care for XQ and XC like her own but they can't strategize and can't think far ahead, just like her father too who can't do politics (problem that her father want to send a beauty woman for marriage alliance is just stupid). At least thanks God that DQ family not a villain like in other drama that scheming to her own cousin because of jealousy. On the other hand XQ is more smart and capable, she has brain and power, born to be a leader. This is similar with XC that not hesitate to fight and I also remember in Ep 1 when Grandfather with a heavy heart decided to withdraw, XQ father said that withdraw decision means betrayal (kind of disagree). So, for me it's consistent, the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree.

And both happened to have birthday today... Happy birthday to Bao Shang En and Song Zu Er

As much as I want this rumor false but I will keep my expectation low. I think this rumor start from LYN live interaction which he said so but someone here, far below already explain that there is similar chinese pronounciation, so it should not be no kiss scene meaning - i forgot the detail.

I have similar experience for TSOPG which he said on live interaction that his character will have kind of bad ending. At first I think that's a joke but turns out to be true. So I don't want to repeat here and keep my expectation low, waiting for good surprise

At this TPOB live interaction LYN also said that he will have more bath scene, so for now I will take this and some BTS picture of him & SZE with a kid as a promise of good scene & happy ending

I am not a novel reader, I just read here and there. In the novel, they will have a daughter first who was born while WS was away at war. Later, they have a son who WS waited anxiously outside the door from dawn to dusk.

Congratz LYN broke heat index in 3 different platform. While his other 2 dramas AJTL & TSOPG had bad endings that I never wanted, I wish this drama will give us the happy ending that we deserve
