Hiding in enemy's place, act as enemy's son should be a save hiding place. She wish one day, Qi Min will claim back the throne. So, she burn Qi Min face and send him to enemy Kingdom to act as Sui Yuan Huai. So, at least positively there was no 'send him to the mother's family for good live'. Because Qi Min said, everyday he live on thin ice painfully. He had to act in order to no one found out he was not Sui Yuan Huai and painfully because all the scar from that fire plus nightmare.

Based on novel, he is not a villain. He is head of premier pleasure house and later head of intelligent service. He is FL's best friend who like FL but FL always just thought of him as a friend. His role is so so, quiet important but not that often comes up in the story. He stand on ML & FL side. If drama follow novel which I hope so, even though he like FL but he won't be crazy obsessed SML who slowly become villain

The first Prince Ding was brother of founding Emperor. After three generations Next Prince Ding Mo Liufang (MXY's father) help young Emperor executed corrupt officials and support him as Prince Regent until young Emperor sixteenth then he resign. In 29 year of young Emperor (current Emperor), Mo Liufang dead of illness. Mo Xiuwen (MXY's brother) as eldest son inherit the title, ordered to campaign against barbarians but died too. Then 18 years old MXY inherit the title continue the war. It mention that by generation although MXY and current Emperor similar in age (Emperor was some years older than MXY) but MXY should be one generation above

Unfortunately, this time Deng Kai play as villain. His love interest should be Yu Qian Qian (play by Snow Kong). So, just like Ti02 said, no any relationship with FL.

This is spoiler based on novel, if you need to mentally prepare before the drama start : Qi Min has tragic childhood, living in pain. This make him become villain. At the end he will be dead. At least, he die quite peacefully by the poison he ask Yu Qian Qian feed him. I don't know if drama will follow exactly like novel though

Novel’s Xie Zheng will got injured many times. Not because he is weak. In fact, he is strong and mighty general. People known him as ruthless and cruel. At the end, his uncle said, he had forged the sharpest blade in the world, one that even he himself couldn’t break (the blade means Xie Zheng). But, still, inevitably Xie Zheng injured by many kinds of scenario. Novel picture it quite bloody, new wound on top of old wound, or old wound open again because he needs to fight or travel on horse. Sometimes I wonder when will his wound fully heal. If I remember correctly, we will get these:
- Schemed by his own uncle at Battle of Chongzhou. Everyone thought he dead. He indeed almost dead buried in snow. This was the first time our FL Fan Changyu save and carry him back to her home
- Fighting assassins who came to Fan Changyu’s home. His old wound not fully recovered make him hurt again and Fan Changyu had to carry him back once more
- Fighting some villain to save Fan Changyu’s sister. He got slash by enemy’s sword to catch Fan Changyu’s sister on time
- He gave Fan Changyu a sword which specifically made for her. On the process, Xie Zheng himself consecrate the sword by his blood by slash it across his own back
- Later, after they declare that they like each other, they found out that Fan Changyu was descendant of his father’s killer (FCY’s grandfather make XZ’s father killed). They broke up. XZ come back to his ancestor home, punish himself with 108 lashes because he fell in love with his father killer’s granddaughter

Novel’s Fan Changyu will get the most growth in my opinion
- Start from an ordinary girl from small town, low in status. Her parents just died, making her an orphan. Almost had no money, struggling to live, fighting over his parents' inheritance so that it doesn't fall into his gambler uncle's hands
- Later, she manages earn money from slaughtering pig, be a butcher. She can provide her sister and injured Xie Zheng (Yan Zheng) quite well
- Later, war broke, she had to travel out from her town. She helps in military units and get attention
- Later, she knew Xie Zheng was Marquis Wu’An – high in status. With that big status gap, she wants to broke with him, but finally she decides to join military to gain merits in order for her can be with him openly and honourably
- Later, they found out her parents and grandfather real identity. Nation brands her grandfather as a traitor and more to it, her grandfather makes Xie Zheng’s father killed. This time they do broke up. But rather than burying herself in tears, she determined to seek the truth and trained hard to gain more merits to clear her grandfather’s name
- Later, she became female general. She helped a lot in military. Her ability not inferior than others male general
- Later, the truth revealed, her grandfather was innocent. Her grandpa was general himself in begin with and now given title Duke. So, she was actually a general’s granddaughter
- Later, for all her merits, granted the title of First rank Protector of the Nation Lady, Great General Huaihua
- At the end, Xie Zheng as King Regent requested marriage decree to marry Fan Changyu, Great General Huaihua, which granted. Their wedding celebrates by nation, by all people
