But ML is alive in another dimension (bcoz of the 'power of tear of void'). Tear of void created a new grief tree. That tree helped all those couples (humans and spirits) who bonded under to continue their bond in another parallel dimension.
So FL's spirit went to the other dimension to be with ML. Some how FL also activated the interdimentional memory in the other ML. That's why he thought everything was a dream and asked FL if they both defeated that black fox and saved everyone in the Toushan. Then ML came back to this dimension to visit the little FL to give a candy.
All the dead couples in the 1st dimension are alive in the other dimension. There is no war in that dimension, just happy ending for all.
