It wasn't the slow paced plot or the bland acting that made me pissed at this movie. It was the absurd ending.…
So Eun Yi, decides to take revenge. Good. The headmistress is also in with her. What do you think they did? 1. Kill the cheater? 2. Kill the ones responsible for her forced abortion? 3. Bring the truth out and sue the family in court? These seem the most legitimate and sensible choices/options right?
But no. Eun Yi does a fucking 360 and commits a double suicide before the family. It doesn't hurt the husband, his wife and not that MiL in anyway. What it manages to do is traumatize the only sweet little girl that was good and polite to Eun Yi from the beginning.
As always, K-movies push the erotic content much more than kdramas so wasn't surprised at the steamy scenes/nudity. The first half, even if slow was going somewhere. But the second half just went falling and tumbling downhill.
First half of the story is good. Like it has potential. But second half goes downhill and it gets an okay-ish/average/decent…
I was hoping the climax would show us a big fight scene of all the girls vs Bull or Blackjack but it didn't happen. I mean both, HSH & JJS are well established action fighter girls. Literally nobody would've complained if they had gotten a few h2h scenes. Not ofc as skilled as My Name or Ballerina.
Yup as expected, S2 was much more action, blood and fighting. Quickly paced as well with no boring or snoozefest…
Now I couldn't stand Gi Na. All that attitude only to get her neck sliced but it was also the cop's fault. Like y'all knew the gangs are big enough, couldn't you have brought more people?
Also Gun Woo and Woo Jin shouldn't have agreed on doing it solo because they didn't want others to get hurt. I mean i understand the sentiment but if they called help from the get go, this wouldn't have happened. Not this much atleast. They were literally offering you a billion. Ofc the gang was big enough.
Also i don't understand why they gotta stop hitting. It happened in S1 and now in S2 as well. Gun Woo won against Baek but that's it. He stopped. Like dude? He kidnapped your mom, threatened to unalive her, threatened you multiple times, many of your loved ones and family got hurt because of him and you stop? That's it? Nobody could've done a thing if Gun Woo went in for a few more shots after winning the final fight.
Lastly, the cameo. So he didn't actually kill Baek and made him work with them for some drug marketing bloodhound stuff. Looking forward to S3
Yup as expected, S2 was much more action, blood and fighting. Quickly paced as well with no boring or snoozefest side tracks. All 7 eps flew by in one night
This drama scared me. Especially the first two episodes. Since it hit a bit too close to home. Every single day…
Now towards the spoiler part. OMG Hui Su you dumb, dimwit, halfwit, good for nothing woman. Mr. Ma just told them both to stay put, he'd handle it all. He had money, resources, power, connection but Eun Su at least was head strong and wasn't afraid to fight back. Hui Su? Why in the actual frick would she go and confess at the station? Oh i guess the kdrama writers wanted to give the murder isn't the solution message but for him? Noh Jin? Seriously? If only Hui Su had stay put and done what Eun Su and Mr. Ma said, they'd be easy walking free. I sympathize with her, as she's innocent and pure but doesn't mean she gets a pass for being dumb.
Jin Young and her mom. I wanted to see their end. As in miserable, destroyed inmates. She not only cared more about her position and promotion than the death of her POS brother but indirectly told Hui Su to shut tf up when she tried to complain about abuse. Like girl?! And the MIL? Worst mom ever since Glory. The moment she saw that bandaid she was like, "he's back?" Not only she knew but in that moment as well, she selfishly cared more about her son. The most villainous. Yes, even more than Jin Pyo.
Jang Kang? Dumb mf. Like dude, two women planned a murder of man and nearly escaped with it. This stupid mf thought he could threaten someone who already were experienced with murdering a man. But yeah, the story must progress so he was made this dangerous thug and Eun Su and Hui Su couldn't just plan something to take him out. Ofc.
I hated the part where they had to go to jail. If not for that this would be a 10/10. Now its a 9/10. Still, awesome nonetheless.
This drama scared me. Especially the first two episodes. Since it hit a bit too close to home. Every single day i wish and i pray only if i was strong enough back then my sweet gentle mom would be much happier now. This drama is one of the best I've ever seen. The toxic abuse in relationship, the twisted love , the victim being too scared to complain and most of all, the relatives turning a blind eye to it. All of it. I hope and pray those who abuse and misuse their strength on the weak and bully them get the worst.
It feels slow but there's not a single episode wasted on any other plot or feels dragged. It maintains tension…
Now poor Young Ho. Blud was a victim of judged by looks. All he wanted was to genuinely protect his sister but got roughed up in the end. I hope everyone at least apologized to him. We don't even see him after the climax scene but as Yoon Seo Ha said, she's not avoiding him but not very close either. They're just........ Family
It feels slow but there's not a single episode wasted on any other plot or feels dragged. It maintains tension and pacing till the end. 7.5. Turned out better than I thought it would
A one time decent watch. Acting, story and action are decent but what pissed me off is the question. Does SK really treat criminals and offenders like that? Bruh cops are expected to give respect and allow even pdfs basic human rights? Wow
This drama started with the potential of 8 or maybe even 9 but fell off to a 7 real quick. The only way it can…
Now, ep 1. Solid and valid crash out moment. Totally agreed with why he did that. Ankle monitor mf was a POS tho. Had to go. However what irritated me most was school and nurse one. Those two idiots, especially the chubby dude, literally shot so many times and there were definitely innocents who got shot as well but the main bullies were just fine? Not only the second lackey ran away fine but the main one? Lee Do was able to calm him down sure that's a good thing but you god damn idiot, you literally shot like 20-25 students of which not all were bullies. You're telling me those two crashed out and decided to pull off a school shooting, and everyone but their main bullies got shot? Wow. Slow fricking claps. Now the nurse as well, well wtf is she doing now? She's seen like the whole country is in chaos and she chooses to spare her bullies as well? Oh please you saint. I would literally fast forward if S2 shows her working the same nurse job and getting overworked again. Complete idiotic side stories, these two were.
Now, Moon Baek. Completely understandably why he became a villain. Like thats too much for a kid. But what I didn't get was his bromance with Lee Do. He's supposedly an extremely powerful and dangerous terrorist. But maybe that was the show's way of saying look two sides of the same coin.
Lastly there HAS to be a S2. Cuz no way we're leaving it hanging like that.
This drama started with the potential of 8 or maybe even 9 but fell off to a 7 real quick. The only way it can recover or get higher ratings is we get a S2 where loose ends are tied. Now to the spoilers in the reply.
Okay so as someone who loves gore action noir stuff this is top tier. But that alone isn't enough to carry a kdrama.…
Now towards the spoiler stuff. The MC Gi Jun is so cold and emotionless. Bro only showed emotion in either flashback or during the last scene. I understand he lost his bro but he just gave off a I'm too tired for this but I gotta drag on vibe. His younger brother Gi Seok (also starred in Love Scout) shouldn't have died tbh but that was the main reason it all started.
Okay so as someone who loves gore action noir stuff this is top tier. But that alone isn't enough to carry a kdrama. The plot, acting felt a little lackluster at some points. The action hard carried this one.
Now, coming to the spoiler part, loved the way Jun Tae didn't forgive his bully but said due to the situation,…
Here are the fights i wanted to see the most. Baku vs Seong Je Baek Jin vs Suho Si Eun and Gotak vs those two lackeys of Baek Jin. Although Baku did mess em up one on one but they didn't get their due beating
First season was emotional, slow burn and grappled with bullying more. It was awesome in its own way. Second was…
Now, coming to the spoiler part, loved the way Jun Tae didn't forgive his bully but said due to the situation, imma need your help but otherwise we ain't cool.
The way Seong Je messed up Gotak was scary. Gotak needs his revenge ASAP. Although Seong Je is still a cut or two above him.
Si Eun? I hated the most when Seong Je visited him when he was checking on Suho. That was the moment I felt was outta hand. Also the part where Gotak called out Si Eun on a few things due to the misunderstanding. Si Eun was out for his blood.
Now for Na Baek Jin. A morally grey character. We did see he's helping orphanage with the money but that doesn't change the fact he's getting that money illegally and his so called underlings are beating up innocents while doing so. What hurt the most was he was an honor student, so him being involved in this stuff was so boggling just like Si Eun said. However an awesome villain indeed. Both Seong Je and him. I'm confused about the post credit scene tho. While it did show his funeral, and that CEO indicating his hand was behind his death, I've seen some peeps say it wasn't him really.
Lastly Baku. The golden retriever. He was the reason Si Eun was finally able to make friends, talk and smile again. I so want him and Suho to interact (yea ik watermelon 🍉 reunion). Although i hated the fact Baku lost to Baek Jin one on one. I mean he was his teacher and was constantly shown as the strongest in the show. Plus his backstory of him beating the Union before? Which led to his suspension? Who did he beat back then? Anyways, I wanted someone to distract Baku during his fight with Baek Jin, so that he lost but I'm not complaining. Baek Jin straight up won 1v1 also means he's just that good. It took two mcs to beat one villain. Now to sum it up, Baku lost his best friend while Si Eun gained his back
First season was emotional, slow burn and grappled with bullying more. It was awesome in its own way.
Second was a bit different but I sure as hell enjoyed this one too, I'd say more than the first one as this was more action/fast paced. It did introduce new characters, gave Si Eun more friends and tangled him in a web of controversies even more. Although it could be, because it has been a long time since I've seen S1
The only word I can use to describe this movie is a "ragebait" movie. The crypto investment scene tho was legit hilarious and made me laugh so fricking much
Yea, just like most of the comments said, Usagi's reason to go back felt..... Huh? Girl thats your mans. You're…
Now coming to the spoiler part i do think the side characters should've been fleshed out a bit more. That bro sis duo gave me the feels a bit. Especially when he was about to die and his sis (Yuna iirc) was crying at the door got me in the feels.
Kazuya, the yakuza dude at the can game also made me tear up but Usagi's crying when Arisu chose to stay was awesome. That sole part of acting was goooooodddd.
Ryuji was an idiot. Simply put. Bro was going back n forth about his motivations. Kept thinking about shooting Usagi during the games, almost tries but stops himself, then again tries to drown her with himself but let's go and does a YOLO.
The villain? Bowl cut mf. I bet if that screen wasn't in between Arisu would've screwed him up. His legit motivation was I'm lonely bro. And then all that for a yeet outta nowhere.
I'd say the games and certain characters had their moments but it didn't have the hype as the previous ones. And of course just like Squid Games, this one too got a US version coming up soon.
