I don’t understand why people are so upset about the childhood trope. In this drama,it doesn’t harm the plot…
At this point of watching dramas, I just fast forward through all the childhood scenes and pretend they don't exist. I don't think drama writers (necessarily) want to include the childhood trope, they are probably tacitly demanded to do so by an unwritten rule in the industry.
