Even though it’s pretty predictable, it’s an engaging melodrama that keeps you hooked to find out what actually happened. Childhood friends Ma Zhuo, Xia Ze, An Duo, and Xiao Zhe see their lives take an unexpected turn after Ma Zhuo’s mother is murdered and Xia Ze’s father goes missing. The whole cast delivers great performances, and the chemistry between Li Ting Ting and Zhou Cheng Ao, as well as Mi Mi and Cui Yu Xin, felt completely genuine and heartfelt. My favorite characters were Xia Ze and Xiao Zhe because, no matter what obstacles came their way, their love for Ma Zhuo and An Duo never wavered. Plus, the scenery is gorgeous and the soundtrack is lovely.
