Title Moving
Yes, it has romance but not cheesy version though. No flower boys only loser flower babies (men) and lady bosses…
Thanks - I know what a flower boy is. It was the notion of ‘loser flower baby’ that lost me 😬

Please explain, in detail, what a ‘loser flower baby’ is?

It’s all about taste. I personally dropped Road home after 4 episodes but I loved this one.
Good for you!

I love slow dramas - the Road Home is a prime example of a slow drama paced pretty well.

However, this show is arthritic and as such, sometimes a little painful to watch.

Edit: now I have finished I can safely say this could have been 30 eps and it would have been much better. Without YY, this would be a 7.8 tops. On a positive note, the FL was very good.

How very woke. I wish woke-tards would wake up.
“Woke is an adjective derived from African-American Vernacular English (AAVE) meaning "alert to racial prejudice and discrimination. Beginning in the 2010s, it came to encompass a broader awareness of social inequalities such as sexism.“

There - now you know what it actually means…

Hi! You know that kid you brought up because his parent abandoned them? Well shitty parent(s) miss them and want…
I doubt it.
Also, semantics but a ‘real’ parent doesn’t abandon a kid for 7/8 years

My least least least least favourite new trope in cdramas:
Hi! You know that kid you brought up because his parent abandoned them? Well shitty parent(s) miss them and want them back… and the lead gives the kid back with no reservations . Seriously.

do the fathers pf the leads approve of their relationship?
Neither father is a good human being. Lu Chen’s father is a nasty piece of work especially, but both of them are slightly better at the end. Neither is father given the opportunity to disapprove as both main characters are financially secure adults but they do accept the relationship eventually.

Genuine question as always interested in looking at this from a different perspective but what struck you as inconsistent?
Thank you so much. Slightly different perspective to me but very insightful!

The female lead (to me) is not so much conflicted by just ‘does he like me or not’ but is also warring between liking him and not wanting to get involved because of the trauma of her parents’ death (and the notion that she might experience the same level of pain again).
She really likes him, doesn’t want him involved with another but at the same time is desperately trying to keep her heart closed. She blows hot and cold because she’s got this whole emotional war playing out in her head that only she can understand - he’s confused because he’s only getting the very tip of her emotional iceberg.

I think in his mind he was always obvious in his feelings and can’t understand what is going on in her mind and with her inability to verbalise what’s in her head he is so confused!

The thing with the assistant was a total ‘kill the messenger’ level of projection lol.

Hopefully that is somewhere close to making sense :) xx

Locking her in her room is NOT okay. Not under any circumstances. She's a goddamn adult. He has every right to…
I am so curious about something! Your watchlist says you’ve seen over 4000 dramas which is basically about 12 hours a day for 15 years - is that right? It’s dedicated if it is!

Awful drama, the synopsis was a lie, the main plot was got less than 20% screentime, rest was just awfully written…
The synopses on MDL are AT BEST serviceable but more usually quite poor.

I always wonder why fl are always shown as victims. Why writers always tries too justify every thing that fl do.For…
Right then *rolls up sleeves*

- HE didn’t have to do anything. He didn’t have to pursue her, that was his choice. She asked him not to, he persisted. He’s not a ‘victim’ here.

- ‘What about his own feelings?’ - is the female lead responsible for his feelings or is he? The idea that the woman should have feelings for the man because he likes her is basically page one, paragraph one of the Incel manifesto…😬
