Trust me, I tried to justify her actions with that thought, but even she realizes she mistook his intentions. She keeps saying “you killed me” but she literally took the knife to herself and when she did it, he was shook. She then finally starts reflecting at the last two eps and realizes she misunderstood him. Also, if you recall, she requests he pardon SML in exchange for her taking her life. She made her choice. He didn’t ask her to nor did they show him having aggression towards her. If you are given a second chance at life, reflect on all of it, not select people. Heck, it implies that Yan Lin treated her inappropriately (flashback shows him forcing her and she tells him an an ep how she had a dream where he “blew hot and cold” all night), yet she was able to try and do things differently with him this life. So she had logic until it came to him.

dang. they made the last few mins so cute and the kisses 🫣it doesn’t redeem all my heartache, but I’m not leaving *as* annoyed. 😅 Plot wasn’t too bad either. Nothing new and there definitely a hole here and there, but they treated the twists and turns nicely and balanced the baddie wins vs the good guy wins. The antagonists got what they deserved.

I’m just trying to get this drama to end at this point! ML has gone miles for FL and FL carried her misunderstandings about him from past life to almost to the end of this drama and even though she now knows his story, motives and true nature, she is still hurting him by not only failing to to have any consideration for him but also rubbing salt to his wound by going out on a limb for her friends. I’m so frustrated 😩 *I hate that I have to do this, but it’s a comment section and not a section for only ppl who absolutely love the drama. I can express my qualms and have a dialogue with others. it’s okay to have differing opinions. And, no, I don’t hate any of the actors themselves 🤦🏻♀️

but it’s riddled with misunderstandings…it drives the whole plot and character development. FL constantly thinking ML is doing it to get power. FL thinking ML sent Yan Lin away to harm him. FL getting caught up in the infiltration by SML - although there weren’t misunderstanding about the actions, there was misunderstanding over intention. The misunderstandings aren’t childish like rom coms but they are still there and. it necessarily a bad thing since the fuel the drama and plot trajectory
FL is smart but she’s stressing me out with how her plans (and misunderstandings) keep crossing paths with ML’s schemes and overall plan. Girlfriend, connect the dots faster 😭 and stop being so distracted by Yan Lin and SML - I get you feel you owe them and ML was treacherous the last round of your life. 😰
