It's such a slow burn, and I'm annoyed with NJ from the preview for next week. It's nothing wrong with her pursuing love, but her character annoys me. I guess I see her as a distraction while figuring out everyone else's emotional scars. It's six more episodes of sorting everyone's emotions out. Let hope the writer has set up a good ending.
I'm still laughing from a oneliner, "After I end his life, I'll fight you, God of Sword."
God of Sword was minding his business, not picking his nose but attentively watching the fight from the sideline, and getting called out for battle was hilarious. Why? Holding a title carries so many burdens.
Right, how is SaRa getting so much screen time? The title of this show is all wrong.
I mentioned that scenario several weeks ago when he remembered he didn't love her. The writer seems too cruel and willing to throw these crazy storylines at us. Everyone going along with her crazy is so unrealistic. A drama has to be a little relatable to the viewers. It's a joke every week. Have us all upset, yet we continue to come back to the story because we want to see how it ends.
This show feels like a terrible addiction. We're bewitched. I haven't been watching, BUT I LIVE for reading the comments. After the amnesia series, I gave this show a low rating. I'm so disappointed with the writer.
This show has made such a huge emotional impact on the viewers. In the future, these actors will continue to be SaRa, YG, and Dan Dan in my head. I hope their following shows are a hit to erase their last characters out of my head.
I just started watching, and I'm on the second episode. I like the direction of the show! I am slightly bothered that she's treating him so poorly as if he begged to marry her, but I'm sure more will be revealed. :)
If he's having an affair, it's wrong too. All of these characters are shady. lol. I haven't been watching. I just…
True. DD doesn't see her as a mother either. A bunch of thieves! They need to separate from all of them. Mr. Park is so guilty he's stupid. It doesn't matter how much Yeonshil does to him and Dan Dan; he still puts up with her because of that one moment in the river. He paid his dues a long time ago. He's just being stupid now.
I enjoyed Princess Weiyoung; however, Princess Weiyoung is more of a "C" for the camera set, costumes, makeup, and storyline. However, I loved that uncle in Princess Weiyoung. I think I'll watch it again to see his face. LOL.
If you don't mind a long storyline, you'll enjoy it. The Rise of Phoenixes is long but has an interesting layout similar in writing style, but not romance. It's in-depth with character development but doesn't sway too far away from the female lead. The producers/studio really put some money into the set. I enjoyed it.

She just sold her husband! Wow! OOOH WHAT!? So Mr. Park's big sister is stepping in! I thought she knew there was no blood relation with him and Dae BUM! Yeah, Yeonshil is right under SaRa when it comes to despicable characters. Then it's SaRa's mom. Anna should come clean. Make life easier for all of us. I'm sure DanDan will forgive her--But Mr. Park has already crossed the lines.
the rating is a lie, don't cause yourself stress, if you haven't watch this yet, not worth it.
I'm confused about the ratings too, but I'm only referring to the rating on MyDramaList. I was told scornfully that the ratings are good in Korea. I guess to each its own. This drama is insane. lol. I read the comments because I cannot bear to sit through it. It will drive you insane. That's not healthy television. :) I just want to know what will happen to SaRa and her mother.
