I do not know what this show tried to teach their viewers. The point-of-view character is the female protagonist. She lied hundred times to reach her goal. Every time that the empress caught her lying, she always forgave her. The empress was the one with positive personality, while the female protagonist was machiavellianistic. In my opinion, I think the one with Machiavellianism should be antagonist, not the protagonist. This is the big mistake of this show.

I watched this show for Jeremy Xu actually, but his role is not important until the final episode. He did a great job in the fight scene of the final episode, while I did not feel anything worth-to-watch in all other eps.
