Taste is subjective. I had to drop Sold out on you after 2 episodes, because it became very boring for me, though…
But here you are judging a drama so harshly after only two episodes. What is hypocrisy again?

This suffers from the same thing as The Next Prince, they have spent a lot of money on production, sets, costume,…
It's always great when someone articulates what you're thinking so well. Agree with all the points you raised. This could have been way better with tighter writing. All the ingredients are there.

No matter happens from here out, this drama has earned a 10/10 from me. Just for ep 8 alone.

The writer knows people and what makes them tick. Dong-man is an ass. From the way he talks and tears others down without restraint, the way he chews and spills food everywhere, the way he clings to people who don't like him, you're meant to dislike him. But he still manages to wring empathy from you.

I made a previous comment about all my empathy going to Jin-man, the brother, even before I knew his situation. That hasn't changed. The scene with those poets took me back to years ago hanging out with literary types at festivals and events and how everyone was so full of themselves but had very little substance. It was a perfect scene for me.

The way my stomach fell when EunA bled cuz of DongMan jst after she told her 'mommy' he made her feel safe. JST…
It was said but it made me happy because it would be doing the story and characters a disservice if he didn't hurt her in some way. He has zero restraint and people without restraint will hurt the ones they love. And after that ending, it's time for some character development.

My OCD behaviour wants to put this two pieces of micropores in right balanced places....why is one higher than…
People with OCD don't go around talking about their "OCD behaviour". Obsessive compulsive disorder is more than just noticing when things are not lined up. The fact that you can't fix it will give you anxiety and a deep fear that something will go wrong because of it even though you recognise how illogical it is. Words have meanings.

extremely boring bl yes but god choi jae hyeok... you are one fine as hell man. how i wish kbls went back to atleast…
Went back? KBLs have always been low budget. Love in the Big City was not your run of the mill BL. It was closer to a gay drama than than the stuff smaller companies do with very little funding. We should honestly be grateful there are people who care enough about queer stories to keep making them even on a limited budget.

On Yumi's Cells Season 3 May 5, 2026
I haven't been very impressed with the lead actor in other dramas even though I was excited to see how he pairs with Kim Go-eun (she really turns everything to gold) and I was honestly not disappointed. It was a good casting for a younger love interest and he fit the character like a glove. Hopefully he's learnt a lot and will meet other stories and characters that he does justice to. I'll be rooting for him.

On Yumi's Cells Season 3 May 5, 2026
I love this ending and it's clear why Sun-rok was the perfect endgame for Yumi. Yumi is an overthinking and with Babi and Woong there was so much uncertainty and hurt and once there was an issue, she was always on eggshells. With Sun-rok, once he knew he liked her, he was very clear about what exactly it was he wanted. He resolved things quickly and there were no grey areas or uncertainties. And the best part is that he is direct even with his passion. Eight episodes was just right to wrap things up. The series is about Yu-mi at the end of the day and she's finally found her one. Guess it's goodbye to the drama that has brought be so much joy over the last couple years.

Ep 7: Okay he is such a cutie but boy he also has a very childish side that as an older woman I can’t ignore.…
It's certainly a personal thing. I'm in my 40s and I'd have been totally smitten by all that gaming and roleplaying. It means the person has their own thing that brings them joy and they want to share that with you. Also there is nothing at all childish about gaming. I love minions and cartoons and dancing whenever I have music on, sometimes even at the market. Not very middle-aged behaviour and I wouldn't want to be with someone who considered them immature.

I can't put my finger on it yet but the FL feels like a character I've seen in something else played by Shin Hae-sun.

Dong-man is an asshole. I recognise his issues and experiences that have made him into this kind of person, but he is still an asshole. As are most of his "friends". Most of my empathy goes to his brother.

I think the story great, better than a lot of what's out right now. I get that the characters' situations are meant to elicit strong emotional responses but at certain points I find that I am rolling my eyes. It's just a tad too heavy-handed for me. Still it's unskippable and I'm having fun watching everything but the nosebleeds. Can't stand the sight of blood and they decided to make it a cinematic event every time it happens.

Parents will fuck you up and after they're dead you still can't get away from them.

Really like how tender these two are with each other.
