It's okay for characters to have different hairstyles or hairstyles that you don't think compliment them but that work for the story that's being told. Not every character is going to be shiny and sleek and groomed to perfection. Do people think wardrobe and styling is only about making characters look good? And I don't usually mind the complaints but some of the language in this cs is just troubling.
The synopsis is clear enough that any gay romance that's happening is going to be in the FL's head. She's a fujoshi making up stories about the men around her which is pretty much what most Ao3 writers do. So just think of it as the inside world of an Ao3 writer. Maybe that'll clarify the plot for you.
Direk for father of the year. I'll like to see Oat play another main lead role soon. He bodied Dao. Being that still/quiet but still expressive must have been hard to pull off.
I remember when the news first came out about this pairing and folks had the most unkind things to say about it. Will never cease to amaze me how people can be so sure something will suck just because they decide it to be so. Jokes on them.
I think this is the first time I get personally angry watching a scene in a drama. I guess its' a pet peeve of…
I see with you mean. But Yumi does not do well under pressure. And then she was already on edge with the ml in the car. He might not be a better driver but he was calmer and so could pull the car out. That's what I saw. Maybe because I call bullshit on the whole men are better drivers nonsense.
We're so back!!! I am biased towards Yumi so the only way I'd have disliked this is if they royally messed it up. And they didn't. One episode in and all seems right with my kdrama world again.
Going to keep watching this for IU even though her character hasn't really settled for me yet. Plus the show itself is entertaining if you're not looking at it too critically. Love to hate the Queen Mother. The actor is doing such a stellar job so far.
So all those years and they just went back to being absent parents despite that traumatic experience? It's not wonder Qin behaved like robot with them. They don't deserve him.
There are more comments talking about hate comments than there are hate comments. Or maybe I have all the right people blocked. Glad the reception is mostly positive.
Guess I'll have to lower my expectations. Was expecting something special but it's just a run of the mill romcom with a big budget. Most of the support characters are comedy faves so I'm looking forward to them in later episodes. More Steve Noh as well. They're certainly getting value for money with all the close-ups of Byeon Woo-seok's face. If this was a sageuk he'd be plotting with Ji-mu on how to kill the king and seize the throne.
All the take about the FL's acting and she's really just acting? The negative reviews seems forced like "we done said this person is a bad actor so she has to be bad in everything she does regardless of her actual performance."
Been trying to get through this drama since it came out and I'm still at ep 4. I love Seo In-guk but this might not be the one for me. I also struggled with more highly rated dramas like Lovely Runner so maybe I don't like fantasy romcoms as much as I thought I did.
