This episode tracked fairly close to the manga actually in that when Keishi says even if gay he wouldn't date this crap dude basically it infuriated me instantly because any excuse is maybe valid if Keishi felt he was protecting his boss from being exposed in a starting relationship between them, but to use the 'this dude sucks, I wouldn't touch HIM' line is a killer. Horrible line to ever use, trash your loved one to protect them.....omg I just die inside when I hit a story with this crap :) But our boss is so understanding he will forgive quickly but one reason he forgives quickly also is to back out of this situation and gain big distance fast. Also way too much useless alone sick time on screen, but I like when Keishi says in an emotional blackmail kind of way to Tojo you need to rely on me!! Made him feel small for not relying on him and then next scene? Trashes him cruelly.....yikes. Keishi is a walking nightmare, lol

I give ya that point :) It is a beautiful film to watch also with location scenes etc.

Great short film. I was hooked because Jed who played Light gave me an immediate flash connection with this character and took me straight there with full interest in how his life was happening in this film. Light's character was portrayed wonderfully and that sets this whole short film up as a success. Wish there was more depth in their relationship as they bonded tho. Tragically too short, oh wow I wanted more! High rewatch value!

Agree acting is stellar, and yea I feelings in some scenes but mine were kinda about when Auo was beaten and his station as a servant meant he had no voice, but I think ya hit the reason this is hard to maneuver cause it is a historical and they just kinda have to follow a certain path due to its' period in time. I feel too there would never be this many allies to support these couples the way the story is flowing tho.

yes agree. lackluster is a good word for how Thee Rati's relationship was progressing. It felt more like Rati just went along for the ride cause Thee was on him to do just that. He didn't really feel involved.

So true. 'feels dragged' to 12 but I think you are right, 8 would have suited this better, they take out useless filler, throw in some passion and boom, over and done :)

Acting is superb for all but this is dragging. I kept saying, get on the ship Thee, leave it behind, better chance in France dude. Get on the ship....nope. Historicals are tough, they do follow a set pattern but they also drag alot of times like this one. Also this is missing real life passion in the script, this is dull actually (for me, I know mileage will vary on this alot :)) A few pops of low key excitment but mostly lethargic story telling.

watched ep 11. It was good but love how H says he doesn't believe in reincarnation, but I guess he believes in soul swapping the dead? WTH? But this actually gave alot of great insight for what Grandpa is dealing and the chat between Zefang and Grandpa had to finally happen and I thought it was good. Key being, FOR ME PERSONALY, to switch up reincarnation with body soul swap makes for just a crappy like final resolution on how this is gonna go down and I WANT THE REAL ZEFANG back in his body and I want 'H and Grandpa's reincarnation fated bond' to be between them later in the future if it is fated to be and not take the life of ZeFang and his future.....crossing the both leads to someone getting screwed. OK, yes I am annoyed LOL can ya tell? :)

ep 9/10 on a rewatch irked me cause I felt it was all disjointed on forward movement. I watched 'a tad of ep 11' and found is totally not connecting at all at this point to the start of ep 11. Sudden Fight for You couple and on a mission? WTH? Useless tie in for exposure?? I thought he was just playing a role LOL Then second couple, in this ep he says, yea, very lowkey, yes we could maybe try and then all of the sudden a dream hits the other and bit of panic and boom we learn stupid crap we didn't know and wowza they are supposedly happy? He took the bracelet with no relsolution at all to the reasons and more AND THEN Grandpa saying he had sex with his wife and no lights, closed his eyes and WTF? I feel so bad for her literally :) and then Qi Ring suddenly out of picture and off to parents cause he hurt his hand, how convenient and then Grandpa Z is saying, I saw things now in this day and age, I'll blow your mind in ep 10, for what, sex, will he keep his eyes open??? COME ON THIS IS SO BACKWARD jumbled now with dialogue from past just not matching with current......this gonna be rushed and open holes in the story bigger the craters of the moon, they gonna f up dialogue, and the flow and just 'wrap it' and hope we all agree. So far I do like this but I know the stupid is coming. Plus body soul swap, this is not reincarnation so how this moves forward will be very interesting.....maybe or we get screwed in the end with dissatisfying resolution. We'll all see. Off to finish ep 11.

Yikes. Same old.....I was actually wishing for those 2 last glasses of wine to be poisoned. We go together into the after life :) Truly it would have given this 'shorty' a zinger it needed so desperately to be remembered. Acting was great, 2 mains were fab. Way too short and wasted screen time to ever impact but I endured cause it was so short :) These are the ones where we know we were cheated from a possible great romance story and it is annoying as heck.

I watched this long ago and knew it stunk :) Goofing around Gaga and saw it again and thought, why not? WHY did I bother? I watched it kinda intensely to see if I am missing that elusive understanding of something in this crap movie but I feel it truly just has nothing to offer. Too vague. I don't care if it is attached to Bittersweet Chocolate, this gave nothing at all in reference back to that to set up any plot or didn't give any further info on the drugs etc. So yea, I rewatched for the heck of it but I know this one I will never rewatch again. Not worth wasting my hours of my life on this junk. It's a shame, this coulda been something and it was absolutely nothing.

Outstanding. Both mains were amazing in their roles and the only bad thing on this is the length, too short. A little more depth of the relationship with 'both Yu Shi and Noah' and the side couple was nice but way under written. It wrapped wonderful at the end. **Be sure to watch a short special called: (Not That) Innocent. It features what 'the Noah side of the personality' wants from this relationship. Very good.

Watched this again cause I couldn't remember it when I did watch it before. It was ok but I really wish they written the script better cause it did have a good story inside with the issues each person was facing and how they went round and round to get a footing on how to move forward for each of them. It's sad it wasn't more to this cause it coulda shined alot better. All the screen time with that useless lady could have been put to way better use.

Liked it. Wish it was fleshed out better a bit with the dynamics in the family and all but I like Riku cause he pushes boundaries. Both leads did well in this kinda weirdo story. Nice they had a happy ending cause when you start this ya just think that it isn't gonna end up well for these 2 but they made it happen and I connected ok with this series. Rewatch value, kinda on the fence lol

Eh, not sure. Not a vamp fan so that works against me in a way but I do love Boun/Prem and Mark and Aun and other actors so I know I want to 'watch them' but just ep 1 so got time to try to connect to this story. First ep felt disjointed somehow? Like Prem is just gonna deal with some vampires today? Like it's nothing? No reaction of dread or fear or SHOCK or ?? Felt kinda stagnant in emotions in a way? IDK, very early on. (worst is a super power vampire can't catch a guy running down the stairs, took forever, come on. This kinda stuff drives me nuts. Like Prem should not have gotten more than 10 steps and caught :) ....oh well, lol )

haha, that is cool. I truly enjoy it for the 'amusement factor' of it. Sher is a mismatched actor for that part, agree, but I just hooked on the messed up relationship situations that dragged me to the end :)

ohh, that 'hands down the worst written BL of all time' is so not deserved for Fahlanruk. Masterpiece, no, but not that darn bad :) Cool, leave a review on it later, I will check out what ya think of it. Enjoy!
