that's very possible, FL died 3years ago then merge into the same body of Shen Xihe which she control the body and remember every Shen's memories... this time, Prince ChangQing after he died he merge his soul to ML's body while remembering everything about ML's memories, ML's original soul is in coma so Prince Chang Qing control the body, no wonder he doesn't look that happy when seeing his own son after 4 years because the son is ML's son... Edward Guo's drama is not my cup of tea... I'm a fan of Ju Jingyi and Wang churan, i didn't like Veil of Shadow and now Hidden Shadow already doubt me... his directing style from camera movement style to its theme and grading feels too isolated and boring
I've seen so many historical drama that has surprised conclusion to the drama, it's mainly known as Fan Service and most of them works but imo this drama fails to do so... Ep.1-20 & Ep.32-35 has the best plot among the greatest in decade... Ep.21-25 has a bit slow but still stable and very interesting then Ep.26-31 which is by-far too disappointed attempt but okay it's still enjoyable to watch then Ep.36, the way they conclude it by making a ML pop up 4years later... i was like, man... i was betrayed 😑... Special Ep. just another extension from Ep.36... what a dumb decision, I can see how they decide what happened to the ML and the FL used up all her ability to fight against odd without ML... If they made the drama end like that, it deserve high praise indeed... we found out who's the main antagonist all along, Whereas Prince Xin actually a good guy but unable to live because he's overly obsessed with FL also his mother a very toxic b!tch, The emperor become a good father and a good ruler but still a bad person for murder so many innocent lives. Prince ChangYing convince his older brother by trying to kill himself not fight? that's a very stupid idea.
This drama live up to its expectations for very well written plot, it's so near perfect drama... Also how they introduced the ML in ep.1 was too absurd, He Yu doesn't have the aura to be ML in historical drama, maybe it's because of his character development maybe... idk but I can surely say he doesn't have the badass type like other actors, his performance still needs more improvement (or maybe it's because of the writers and the director decision) compare to Meng Ziyi she stole every spotlight for her performance. However this drama lacking the chemistry romance, I'm not complaining the leads romantic sequences, it's so good but how the writer's and director decide to made the FL to have feelings for the ML that was the most weakest point in the whole drama. Alot of plothole, it's not big but kind of annoys me.

I'm at episodes.30 and I could say ep.1-20 it's undeniably the best plot I've seen in a long time (a 10 out of 10)... then ep.21-28 went downhill slower and slower however ep.29 have me mixed to positive reaction which made ep.30 feel refreshing because it seems the main antagonist start to resurface and boy oh boy that ending at ep.30 so hot and tbh made me arouse for Meng Ziyi🥵❤️
Colony is a good horror flick... the casting choice definitely made this movie to be viral... I mean it's was directed by the same person who brought Train To Busan with popular casts too... Zombies movies are always risky moved because there's too many zombies movies and the ideas kinda similar from one to another which made it looks generic and cliché but because its Yong sangho zombies movies, he took the same formula from his previous work and added a bit of new ideas and new objective which made Colony so interesting to watch.
at first I'm very confused why FL attitudes starts to show she care for ML, when? its not clear... but because he went with her to her Homeland to help her father and brother which made her sure to her feelings that she's in love with ML... but wait a minute if so, because Shen Xihe and Gu Xing Zhi share the same body and two souls... who really love the ML because Shen Xihe parents still alive and ML save them, she could be the one who truly love him? but because Gu Xing Zhi the one control the body she tell the ML the feeling experience by Shen Xi he.... hold up!!! but I think all make sense if they show how FL truly feels towards ML in the HALF A MONTH LATER time skip... i was like mann .. that's just ruin the romance atmosphere... Did Prince Xin in that Half A Month being able to adapt not to OBSSES too much thing?? idk
speaking of Prince Xi portrayed by JEREMY XU... this is the third time I'm seeing him in a drama, his villain role in Whisper of Fate so phenomenal and no actor's can play a role like him so good at being obsessed to Female Lead... this drama and. Love of Nirvana, damn he's too good... he have so many dramas that he's the Male Lead.. very talented actor indeed.
this drama already on my watchlist since the day it was announced and just now i completed after it went viral online, I feel the similar vibe watching this drama and HAUNTED PALACE drama... ML FL dealing against a royal blood evil spirit who want to eradicate royal bloodline but the only difference was this drama has less comedy and no romantic sequences so that the budget can be filled in the visual effects, this drama is 2x serious and 2x darker with more isolated than HP.
This drama was so damn near perfect if not for its plot. It has great CGI/VFX, Great Performance, Well Casts, Spectacular cinematography, good Action sequences and a slight romance with beautiful chemistry. The plot was super complex and most of the time it just hit and miss situations, I'd say it was averagely okay written and I could still recommend others because how they conclude this drama was pretty satisfied. Also this drama deserve to be nominated at the awards shows next year from Blue Dragon Awards to Baeksang Art Awards.👏🏼👏🏼 A Very Nice and entertaining drama, 8/10.

I'm still at episodes.27 and the romance in this episode didn't impress me... the character development on ML was very clear but for FL when it comes to her being cold and ruthless with zero emotions... YESSS!!! i praised for that... but to have chemistry romance with the ML?? I don't see anything that can impress me... maybe she hides her love but she's a straightforward talker she would tell him since she promise the ML... it took upto 27 ep. that the FL finally confess in upcoming episode, is she just love him because she feels pity for him living a short life?
