i'm exhausted watching this drama because of it's misunderstanding situations for the characters... there's a lots and lots and lots of misunderstanding that led to chaotic & conflict, it's the first time i've ever seen in a drama where there's too many misunderstanding storyline, this drama should have title "Till The End Of The Misunderstanding" ... it's not boring but boy there's many foolish characters like all the characters in the SECT are stupid & idiotic except FL adoptive father & ML Master (they are the best), it has emotional journey for the ML and i think it's so well written...There's 4 different timeline 1) 10,000 years ago 2) 10,000 later (which the drama mainly took place) 3) 500 years later 4) another 500 years later (wait, did the ML & FL had a daughter and she still a 4-5years old kid after 500years later???) . Why God of War/Protagonist/Devil God has the same face? Lets talk about the ending, not very well ending but it's acceptable, Ep. 1-19=WOW, Ep. 20-34= Okay, Ep. 35-40=WAIT... WHAAAT??!!! Anyway i watch this because i'm a fan of Bai Lu. It's a good Drama but didn't met my expectation to satisfy my taste. CG/VFX well done!
This drama made me laugh so hard couple times, Park Bo Young & Jo Jung Suk are some of my fav actor/actress ever, seeing them both really great & their acting is GOLD. There's a good and smooth ending however there's some unexplain/not shown like the ML sister & Mother was never shown how they react when they found out ML brother-in-law was a psychopath killer who got possessed then because the FL studied abroad they jump forward two years and show the ML brother-in-law never remember all that happened because he got possessed by evil spirit; now in this part where i'm confuse, before he commit suicide (though he's not dead) the evil spirit went back inside him but he still able to control his own body to jump because he feel guilty? that's not possible because if he never remember anything then it was fully control by evil spirit (did he forget all his decades life how he grow up since the evil spirit seems to latch inside him since his childhood)... it's not explained, moreover if every evil spirit can possessed bad people then did every police department need a SHAMAN? because every cop in this drama so lazy & dumb. Anyway the farewell part from Shin Sun Ae is well done and very emotional, she's the MVP in the drama, without her the story can't moved an inch, like the FL got close to ML & the Psychopath killer got reveal later.
This drama worth watching it, with Korean Historical (fictional story) combine with western theme (like more violence, Dark plot & explicit nudity/sexual content), a very well done from it's cinematography to directing, everything looks spectacularly EPIC. Season 2 may happen in late 2025? we'll see
For those who don't know this is a sequel to the ONE AND ONLY release month before & it took place in modern era (present day). I'm disappoint it's not a reincarnation drama at all, even though ONE & ONLY end in a very sad and misery for both ML & FL, this one is a pure Fan.Service. From Ep.3 the ML propose to marry the FL through smartphone and she accepted, then their love starts growing forward without any argument or misunderstanding between them, everything is smooth until the story introduce the ML family, so messed up and only Ep.28 there's an intense scenes for both FL& ML and FL suffer a coma. In this moment i really wish that if this is a reincarnation drama it's the best time for both of them to remember their previous life but naah the ML just born with same face and same name (ancestor was the ML in ONE & ONLY), he's a new person with new soul however the FL can remember what happen in her dream and she just said that The crown prince want to marry her and she reject him, nope that's an alternate story, in ONE AND ONLY the crown prince want to marry her by convincing the queen to order the marriage and she can't say no, she can't remember everything in her coma dream... just a bit of hope is making me the audience to expect to be reincarnate. If Korean got to adapt this i'm sure the exaggeration exist in a good way but C-Drama, they have their own way of showing like COmedy doesn't impact well at all. From Ep. 1-15 its so dull and lifeless and ep.16-30 has a bit of entertaining storyline, but the thing why i rated highly of this drama is because the ML&FL Chemistry so beautifully well done, of course the love chemistry works well since the ML character's as the professor of chemistry.

Even though her mother want's her daughter to be happy but she made a mistake by thinking for her cui's clan first (later she admit she was wrong). *Editing in some scene made some error

Story took place after decade, what really happened in the past it's unclear, the plot twists so weak, action scenes are dull, the ML/FL are fine but the other ML definitely a douce bag, he forcefully kissed her (that's called sexual assault, Harrasment/Molestation) but he's too friendly that's why he has happy ending.

This drama pending for 3years because actors/directors dropped due to the Highschool+ idol singer plot-line script cuz now a days most audiences lacks the excitement for highschool drama for it's cliche story/characters however the completion of this drama with 10-11months of filming prove them wrong. I Praised from it's main OST to Character Development and made us the audiences to see from another perspective what's love looks like in a sci-fi yet fantasy atmosphere.
The combination of Supernatural elements, Science Fiction & Historical events filled with mystery storyline sound perfectly interesting but it made me not excited that much, maybe It didn't met my expectations . However the VFX so beautifully well done!

This is best friend since childhood encounter romance in them, I mean this one is good even though the concept seems like a complex but making it to the point, this was meant to be a movie 4episodes= less than 3hours, but it was decided to be ep. Wise. Love Next Door is another friends became couple but with 16episodes, now that's what the concept really working smoothly
