If you support both, just highlighting both credit is enough rather than saying the other will be benefited from the other party which is demeaning.

Just so you know, by saying "But I’m sure this time it will not happen so because our Lady Luck (tansongyun) is with him." is a sign of arrogance from actress fans that always landed with fan wars. His turbulence path as actor does not mean he's a failure. And by saying 7 always had the luck is also means she got backer that ensure her success which equals to looking down on her effort. Xu Kai's path was harder does not means he's inferior from 7. And 7's path has always been successful does not mean she had it easier and does not mean she's superior.

He didn't sign for capital so basically he's vulnerable and easily sabotaged. Plus his company is using him to help other colleagues get work so he got no one on his side. Capital and company will protect those who signed with them, so even if their dramas flop, the capital will ensure the result being output as "successful". Because this is their investment. Meanwhile for Xu Kai, even if he didn't have capital for back up, his company should be responsible to protect him as he is under their contract but his boss is bias and didn't like him because he refused to do crook marketing that his boss usually do so this left him on unfavorable side with the company and the capital. Hence, he is easily sabotaged every single time. That's why you can see so many posts mocking him as failure, those are brainwashing marketing to sabotage his image as actor.

Yep, based on current arrangement, no SVIP. Hope no last minute change of heart from Tencent. 8pm is where the slot for Hunan Tv start airing. So basically by starting at 8pm, it will synchronize the schedule for both satellite TV and webcast platforms.

Super VIP. According to Tencent's original plan, they will release 4 or 6 eps at 12:00pm for those VIP (Tencent's member) to purchase the episodes in advanced. SVIP has been applied by other platforms also like Youku to gain advanced heat for the drama (on premiere day) but heat mechanism is different. Youku's heat continue all day but Tencent's will reset again at the official time of eps release which is 8pm. If SVIP was applied, ABAY will suffer low heat by its premiere time 8pm since some already had accessed for early watching at 12pm. Plus with SVIP the chances of piracy is high as some can download (illegall method) and share it widely. This will impact the view counts. Normally SVIP applied on premiere day only, the rest of schedule will follow normal time which is 8pm. But in Xu Kai's case, SF6 was having SVIP for all their 36 eps. So SF6 suffer low heat and low view counts. That's why Xu Kai's fans protesting this time for ABAY. Tencent has been doing dirty operation on Xu Kai's drama since She and Her Perfect Husband.

As of now Tencent already changed the starting time to 20:00. Seems like the fans' protest are working. But still need to watch it out on 2nd July in case Tencent did dirty operation again.

It's up to you if you understand the plot and enjoying it. At the same time, respect also people who complain the can't feel the plot because it didn't resonate with them due to poor scriptwriting. FYI, I feel nothing about YZM and his father's death. It didn't feel any sympathy or lost for him.

Like Xavion15 said, the plot too jumpy for YZM part. They just remembered him towards the end of the scriptwriting process. But if they follow the book and the summary described as per book, would you and those dissappointed below come to watch this drama? In other words, put Xu Kai as guest role if based on the book, not the ML. He was described as ML but his part is not well handled. The plot of his father is like people jumping on train last minute to catch the journey.

The clues lies in YZM's verbal conversation. It's hard to pull the audience with sudden bloop bloop scenes. Can you remain invested with the story with just people storytelling you like a raconteur? Proper scenes needed to be shown. Otherwise don't include it at all.

yes, the problem lies with one dimensional script writing. the writer didn't write parallel events during the early stage that will support the later plot. she focusing event by event plots without preparing the next stage thus resulting with sloppily added scenes and hasty ending. In the early stage, it focus too much on the Xin family-MCH's 1st BF relationship without developing the next plot. this kind of scriptwriting only suitable for 10 eps or so series, not suitable for series with 30+ eps.

I couldn't finish Ruyi either. Though the Empress becoming villain is actually in line with how she and Emperor ended up estranged in later episodes but it feels like the core for the hate later on is not strong enough. Unlike in Yanxi where the core for the hate is due to years of affection and obedience.

Court Lady and Yanxi Palace are his company production dramas so you'll see a lot of overlap casts. He Fengtian, Nie Yuan, Hong Yao, Wu Jinyan, Bai Lu, Wujiayi, Wang Yizhe, Zhang Nan, He Rui Xian, Liu Min Zheng Kai are all same company with Xu Kai.
