I won't really say he made these dramas. More like his company produced these dramas. He's one of the producers. For me these 2 dramas bigger credit goes to the scriptwriter, Zhou Mo.

There are many people blocking him China due to competing resources etc, so it's hard for the so-called blockbuster. He already had a few hits dramas previously. and Yanxi already a blockbuster. His dramas sold well in overseas, this is how production company get their money back. It's not really profitable in mainland for dramas nowadays. It's too concentrated on fandom fights. There are people from advertisers world saying that those super popular dramas aren't making much profit coz marketing is super expensive. Instead many the so-called average dramas made more profit.

His agency are not good to male artists, they prioritize female artists. Also his boss doesn't want male artitst to be recognized because he thinks they will be ungrateful and leave him. Also, his boss are master at hyping and marketing, there's no way he doesn't know how to handle attacks on XK. He works closely with many marketing accs. Mind you, it's not netizen who attacks XK in most cases, it's the marketing accs that done it. So there's,must be some parties paying the bots.

Yes, they play 2 sides. They receive money from the one who want to sabotage artists and they contacted artists asking money if don't want the negative material to be released. This is also double edged sword, once you pay, you need to pay the next time coz they already got your secret which is paying the marketing side. Continuous blackmailing.

Part of the reason the slander on Xu Kai is to sabotage ABAY's TV slot. TSY fans might be unfamiliar, but for XK's fans this has been on going for every drama release. Every time there's a rumour his drama about to air, malicious post started popping up. If you google XK's name, almost no positive things related to him. It's just this time they went overboard with this HIV slander. Did you most artist paid weibo and a few other social platforms to clear their negative news/rumours? His company did nothing to protect his reputation instead they're one of those who smear his name.

That's how they doing it to Xu Kai in China. They put misleading title, people just spread w/o reading the contents. Their goal achieved. The douban group that 1st put this misleading title is the group full with bailu fans/navy. You can trace the post they made They mainly post about hyping bailu. They will post contents mocking xu kai then pass it to yxh on weibo. This is their operation. That's how so many negative post on xukai in weibo.

There's slander saying him having HIV and hiring p**titues. Rumour said that there's actor being hospitalized in Beijing then started fanwar btwn wyb and xz fans. xz fans pointing to wyb n suddenly word Hengdian appear in the rumour and actor started with X. wyb fans pointing to xz who currently film in Hengdian. Since the surname rumoured X, XK haters drag his name. They maliciously spread it on Douyin, XHS, Kuaishou etc. They dirtied XK's search result on weibo with words such as hiv, hengdian hiv, xukai hiv. Not sure who started it anyhow this rumour cause big fight btwn xz and wyb fans.

True🤭 This drama has it's own plus and minus points but if she were to discuss it in overall, she needs to touch on Xu Kai's acting, she definitely wants to avoid that.

You are focusing too much on this "his drama not doing well".

People who like him as actor wish to continueenjoying his acting. Not coming and keep on asking why his dramas not good, why he's not popular etc etc. If you not satisfied on his acting, comment on the drama page.

I don't understand why are you so particular about his achievements. For all the constructive criticism you throw, it's not us fans who need to fix it, it's him. If you can find and get all that data, he definitely received it first and know first hand whether it's really good or bad. He's the one who will either get bonus from it or suffer resources downgrade. If you want to provide the constructive criticism, doing it based on dramas. Go to each drama page and left what you feel need to improve. What's the point comparing drama data on his profile page, each drama is different, has different audience.

Douban is criticizing Leo's acting on AASOL but no worries, his PR is doing their job to tone down it from reaching hot search. That's what made a top artist, good PR. Dramas can have rave responds, but PR need to control where the direction of good reviews, guiding public into joining the hype, making the drama seems popular, thus contributing into data. Xu Kai doesn't have PR, if he has PR he already on hot search everyday with positive points, they will control his reputation, you won't be reading all this drama flops, all his "scandals". You won't be worried about his dramas not doing good because the PR will ensure the public won't know that the drama is not doing well. That's what PR job is maintaining artist good name.

I suggest find a new actor to fan. You want an idol, he's not one. Many already left him because they are tired waiting for him to have a total hit. He got his hit dramas but you guys are not satisfied. He won't be able to satisfy your vision on him. Those who remain with him now are mostly drama fans, enjoy his acting. They discuss plot, his characters not his drama data. His works reached different people each dramas. He didn't have same audience. ABAY might be a hit if air on Satellite TV but his Yang Hua, Wang Lu and Bai Jue fans won't watch.

There's no need to explain all these things, just watched his dramas that you like. The whole thing is very hard to explain because there's a lot of linkage of events, data and guessing involve. There's a lot of information changing behind that fans grab from reliable sources to form all these. Easier things to say is management changing, new leader got her own target for her leadership. XK's dramas belong to previous leader so she won't give total credit to past guy (who incidentally fighting with her also for managerial top spot). The obvious things for data comparison is how come AASOL can get 26k heat when they only reached Datawin 2.0 in their 3rd day airing. SF6 reached 2.0 mark on their 2nd day and the heat just 24k? AASOL only have SVIP on 1st day, SF6 got SVIP on every update day. SVIP divided the heat. So question here, is dissipating heat considered sabotage or not to the drama? Platforms won't sabotage their own dramas but they arranged the dramas according to reputation. Btw, XK's dramas always belong to poor reputation but never fail to return the investors. Bad for artist, good for investors. Better not have high regards for so-called popular dramas, not many can return the break-even because marketing fees is really expensive. They got reputation but they have no profit. So there are plus n minus points in every situation, not everything is what being presented for. I don't trust data now, even in C-ent they started referring to Kuyun because Yunhe started to show unreliable trajectory of data. All these can be manipulated, depends on what your target is.

C-ent relies heavily on favoritism and connection. It's hard to say about quality works etc, even the award being given based on celebrity status. Try watch We Are All Alone and Twilight (Ren Jialun n Angelababy) drama, there are some insights to entertainment world there. I don't know about XZ but I think his recent works on Tencent are not well taken care (like in the past) due to his tenure as Tencent Ambassador is no longer extended. Each platform will take care their designated spokesperson's works. XK works mostly on Tencent but I don't think he signed any exclusive deal.

I think the scar being put there to depict hard life of BLH when he was young. In the game, they show a bit of BLH younger self. I'm not sure drama side will cover that or not.
