ALP wasnt' supposed to air that time yet but there's a rumour that another S+ drama, "The Golden Hairpin" wanted to delay airing due to waiting for satellite tv schedule. So ALP took the spot.

ABAY initially a satellite TV project, the online platform was bought by Tencent, so the arrangements to air up to all parties (Tencent, satellite tv and production). In Nov, it was rumoured that Hunan TV bought ABAY, so due to this ABAY will also air on MangoTV since Mango is the online platform of Hunan. Right now Hunan is rumoured to air ABAY after current drama finished. CP6 is Tencent's project. But also rumoured to be bought by Zhejiang TV. The next S+ available after The Last Immortal is CP6. TLI VIP ends on 10th Jan. If no other dramas hijacking the schedule, CP6 should come around this time.

They compete for TV slot, so since they already got the license the airing possibility might be as early as early January.

Just like Wetv Indonesia bought Royal Feast (mango tv drama) and Sword Brocade also aired on Iqiyi international. Mind you, WOL and Sword Brocade only aired on Tencent in Mainland and RF only aired on Mango TV.

Regarding the most popular overseas award, those actors you mentioned, are popular actors in mainland and are known to overseas cdrama watchers who closely follows cdrama fandom. Just to give you reference, Bai Jinting's drama Destined are super popular in Mainland with average almost 80million views per episode but the rating suffers in HK tv and HK media wrote that the reason is BJT is pretty unknown in HK. Royal Feast average views per episode is 10million but it is among 2 mainland dramas in Top 10 annual HK rating. The rating even beat A Dream of Splendor. That's the gap.

No news about iqiyi. Probably only iqiyi international since they also bought WoL. So far only tencent and high possibility satellite TV broadcast.

That's what marketing does. Other actors with result half of his got praise to the sky because they got marketing team. He got none and his team doing lousy job protecting him from smearing his image. He still got S level projects because he's not fail in returning money to the production and investors. There's no rule on how they distribute the airing schedule, it's up to the platform and production company arrangement and licensing result. CP6 is around the right time to air, ABAY and BCE might be a bit earlier than usual because they linked to CCTV or Satellite TV.

SF6 rumoured mid-January, will take over The Last Immortal. ABAY rumoured early to mid February.
