If only the focus was on him
This drama is like someone trying to fulfill their fantasy of a prosecutor x gangster romance but is written in a very amateur level.
If only the story was focused on the father and son, this drama would've been epic. It would've had a more cohesive and justifiable cast. It would have depth that this drama lacked. Complex relationship that really shows how twisted it had become by their cruel fate. How can they missed that gold mine and released this instead???
Sidenote: They could've referred to this ancient classic tragedy about a father and son, Sohrab and Rustum. The legendary Persian hero Rustum leaves his wife before their child is born and is falsely told the baby is a girl. Years later, his son Sohrab grows into a mighty warrior and leads an opposing army to find his famous father. The two meet in single combat without knowing each other's identity, resulting in Rustum mortally wounding Sohrab and discovering the tragic truth only as his son lies dying.
