Your opinion is way tooo unrealistic considering how she has her very own (manipulative) "teacher" and how she never listens to the ML and always fights when he give her his opinion.
I do agree he comes our passive-mocking but he always got point. So you cannot really blame ML for that.

Let's imagine a situation where the ML is not in the company with her and they did not meet. Do u think she could have saved herself from that situation?? And we all know Mr. Du approached her cuz of ML.

Tbh I think Riley Wang and his annoying to-be-GF is going to create huge drama in later episodes.
I love Riley Wang a lot, but neither I liked First Romance neither his role in this drama. It is so PLAIN(?). and Xu Li is the most irritating character in this drama. People might disagree and find her character cute but lmao. It is not.

As of 04 Oct, 2020, number of Watchers stand at 4,542. This is pretty impressive IMO.

Re-watched 4 episodes and I am laughing so hard again.
1. Baekhyun: Our leader. He is crazy just like before but miss his crazy and carefree nature when he is with EXO. May be cuz of the leader title. He knows.
2. Taemin: he is like a fairy. Tbh I am not his fan or SHINEE obsessed. But his SMILE!!! I think his smile is contagious like actually contagious and it can brighten up your whole day. Taerimsa indeed.
3. Kai: he has become a lot more cheerful and loud lmao. This kid.
4. Taeyong: he is a lost baby. Gets excited really easy (he is precious). And a weird water gamer hahaha. His body literally... Hahahhahahaaaa. I am dying. Watch ep 3 and 4.
5. Ten: My new NCT bias. It's official. Watch his As you wish mini movie. You will know why. And this guy knows game. And his korean is soooo cute.
6. Lucas: I am getting to know him better. But he is very good looking. I think it's due to the language barrier
7. Mark: He is so funny. His laugh is so cute. He laughs at his own joke.

I am grateful for this group. I learn new things about my bias and learned to bias other too. (Screaming.. TEN)

Yes I know that Baek and Kai had their acting debut already, I did not know about Taemin thank u. Yes. I agree. They all did great

Haha. I agree with you. I also want to see more of the 2mom's scene. I feel like the rich mom actually likes the ML mom. But she has the hierarchy system in her head which ruin everything, and now the competition for the son's fame. its tiring but it is truth. People actually create unnecessary competition in their head.

For the ML and FL. I am okay with the scenes and I am like that when I date lmao. May be I m boring (may be my ex knows better).

ikr. I had some expectation from Kai and Baek. And I like Baek's story the best personally. But I was so impressed with other member's acting. It was their first acting debut (sort of lol). Boy they all can act.

I have no idea about the scripts and direction.
As far as I know, they themselves came up with the idea, mood and the story. I think the director chose the location (I think..?) and the dialogues too.

we share sam brain cells. I find the family scenes very realistic and make me understand human's emotion better. Like we see how they all care for HJ but acts differently. HJ father is always worried about HJ and his failure that he turns blind sighted to everything he does, which is very sad. His grandpa is my fav character. I love him and he is precious. I do not hate his brother too

IKR. I have rated Because it is my first life very high for a drama. It was THAT drama for me. And same goes for this drama. It is so realistic and relatable and tbh I enjoy the family scene too. I wish I have courage to speak up like HJ though. I love how every character is developing, esp JH, HJ, HJ grandpa, HJ mother, as of ep 8; I would say HJ brother as well.
I am in a weird state of emotion when I think of HJ ex manager, it is like he is internally genuinely happy that HJ is getting success he deserved. but is bitter that it was not his work but his current lady manager. I hope he changes for better.
As for HH, and his mother, some character development would be appreciated. idc about HJ ex girlfriend, she is not relevant and I know it. The only thing that might come under their way is HJ's fame and I am excited to see how they will manage.
I really do not want HH's mom to create any nonsense hardships for HJ. I am really praying cuz as of ep 8 I do not hate her. I just see her as an overly protective mother and I have seen such mom irl.

I think it is an instinct of wanting to own thing that you think should be yours.
When HH first met JH, JH introduced her as HH fan, so when she confessed that she was actually HJ's fan, a part of his ego got hurt (I think a lot btw haha). Also the scene where he ran towards her shows how pathetic his character is. He for one second did not think about himself and JH but all of JH and HJ scene flashed in his mind. So, as of ep 8 I do not think HH actually feels strongly for JH.

I understand you might have found it boring because of all the family scenes and his struggling episodes. But that is exactly what this drama is about. GROWTH! Please be more patient and keep enjoying this drama. Thank you

but that happens in real life lol. I have seen my friends and friend of friends doing that. So it is pretty normal for me and kind of make the show more realistic.
