Third anniversary of this wonderful and engaging show. I’m putting my headset on and with that can enjoy every detail almost as if being inside the scenes.

Thanks for clarifying. I’d like to add that Xiangyun is the spoiled one and thus played differently to the other characters. She is speaking maturely and expressing confidence as CangHai for example.

YCY dubs herself. Her voice is not necessarily high for Chinese standards, but Westerners may find it on the high end of pitches. Many actresses from China need dubbing by others because of voice or accents, so I consider YCY’s self dubbing a plus.

In the beginning of the collection we are in 2018 and witness how miss Yang’s rise to stardom began. Later are scenes from her hilarious good buy speech after two years. … the rest is history.

In my opinion it comes down to this being a melodrama. Sad stories tend to be judged lower than happy ones. However, it was at the top for two months.
