Which only really happened because Ongsa assumed her parents weren't going to be okay with it, plus then let Sun meet her parents without telling Sun that they don't know and "don't tell them"
Bro...I am so tired. Sun outs 3 people without consent, victim-blames Ongsa and turns it into a "you're embarrassed…
Ongsa always assumes what people think, never asking them, and in the end she hurts the people around her with her assumptions. Sun just wanted an honest relationship, where they could be open with people. She had no idea the parents didn't know, and so revealing Luna and Aylin's relationship was a simple mishap, however of course revealing her own relationship with Ongsa wasn't an accident.
Oh no I haven't rated it, I wouldn't do that to a show just because I personally disliked its ending. Overall I'd still rate it a 9, ignoring how they ended it <3
I've never felt grief in my life, young as I am, but I feel torn apart after seeing Baek Hyun Woo alone. Show went from a 9.5/10 to a 0/10, ask me again when I've sorted myself out.
This episode definitely cemented that Ongsa is kind of a self-insert. Makeover trope, which let's be real, wasn't…
That's how teens are. That's how I was, and even just with my friends, and a lot worse than Sun. Overly jealous and hated other people getting near "my people". But being in my 20s now I have long overgrown it and wish I hadn't let it get so bad. It's extremely realistic, at least. The makeover? Non-existent, but they tried. I guess. I'm just having fun watching!
Why the errors? Why the social media subplot? Why the stalker?? As if there wasn't enough conflict as is wtf...…
The show has an 8.8 rating and is pretty globally famous. So it's pretty safe to say it's still a good show. Sadly it hasn't met your standards, but the show is deep and brings more than just a love story. But I am very glad you're being nice about it, and I hope I'm not coming off as too rude!

Hard when they don't have a massive budget. They did a great job with what they had, as far as we know. And the tonal shift is sudden, but invites us to reconsider the entire show up until that point and I enjoy shows that dare make us question everything we thought we knew.

Well you see they're all justified because they were the plot. It was about Myungha fighting obstacles he created and learning to love, and it was never a game, it all a dead man's last wish- a second chance. The original start of the show was a lie- it was never a cute game, it was the inner workings of death and life. So of course we couldn't continue that lie, we needed to realise what was actually going on.
