Y'all can't go into a cute, fluffy show with the thoughts "This needs to be better than this", "I hope the characters are deep and complex", "If I don't love it then it's because it lacks something", "I sure wish these 17 year old kids aren't cringe and child-like" and then say the show is bad because you expected something that you were never promised. A show isn't bad because you find its elements subpar or not to your taste, a show is bad if it doesn't live up to what it promised. And two episodes in, I am seeing exactly what I expected. Which is a good thing.
Also, if you don't want to watch cringe teenage girls fall in love then this might not be for you. Can we just enjoy this show, and stop ripping it to pieces at 2 episodes? Let us breathe for at least 2 more weeks, then we can gladly pick up these discussions again.
It's how the book ended, and we were supposed to have a season two following the rest of the story. But the writer sold the rights to the dubbing company instead, so yeah. It is what it is. And Wu Bi is just jealous 24/7 lmao Also they told us Wu Bi was fine, which is good enough for me!
